As often happens around NAMM, companies are starting to announce new equipment and Numark are no exception. What is surprising is just how many new CD players they have chosen to announce, giving their main line-up a complete revamp.

Numark NDX200 NDX400

They choose to lead off with the all new NDX series of tabletop CD players. The NDX200 is the more basic of the two but still rammed with impressive functionality and good looks. Features include Numark’s famous Anti-Shock technology and fader start.

The NDX400 is the big brother two and while it looks similar to the NDX200, it has much more bang for your buck. Features include the following;

  • Rugged, strong, good-looking chassis with slot loading CD player
  • MP3 CD compatability
  • USB input for performance with flash drives
  • Reverse mode for special effects
  • Anti-Shock buffered skip-protection technology
  • Seamless looping for creating and integrating loops
  • Text display for navigating folders on MP3 CDs and USB sticks

We are still waiting for exact dates and prices but the new NDX series is expected to ship in September. The NDX200 will ship as a pair with the Numark M1 mixer in the new CD DJ in a Box package.

They also announced details of new rackmount twin CD/MP3 players, to compliment the CDN22 Mk5 and CDN88 MP3 that were announced earlier in the year – more details on these this week.
