Not bad...
By: Dave Vipond
Good solid beginner mixer. effects are near enough useless on a PA , but channels and EQ's are faily solid. That being said, for the price there's not much else on the market that can match it. My advice, dig in your wallets and spend the extra 300 squid on a pioneer or A&H. It will benefit you in the long run.

great but not amazing
By: unknown
great mixer for beginners or experienced djs. ive been using the mixer for about 4 months now and the only problem with it is that the bpm counter sometimes dosent work and theres no sync lock which makes it a lot harder for beginners to crossfade. but apart from that i highly recommend this mixer

Average Mixer But Awful BPM Counters
By: Danny Walker
This mixer is okay to get you started, but as i have had it 6 months now and i'm really getting into djing i am starting to find it slightly dissapointing, the bpm counters are very very poor and you can never lock a beat so amature dj's dont buy this product !!!

2008-04-27
good dj mixer for both beginners and semi pro DJs.
By: james
easy to use, but no label on the effects panel..can do as a substitude of pioneer djm600.

2008-03-28
Top notch for the price
By: Dunkan B
I used this mixer for 18 months from the day i became a DJ. For the price it can't be beaten, decent sound quality, decent EQs, however more recently I felt the up-faders were going to go but I'm pretty violent with them. After the learning the FX on this mixer I could apply some of the techniques i learnt on it when i used the Pioneer DJM 600 and 800 so if your a begginer and want to go far with your DJing I definately advise this baby!

lets be honest karma does exist believe...save yourself
By: soulstar
well ive had this for around 9months and it does what its designed to do for the price tag you get what you pay for i guess some of these reveiws are biased and unrealistic agre bpm counter is not reliable faders seem ok at the mo but i do feel the EQ shows its vunerability and lets down the mix especially at the low end the
xpq surround facility is terrible in terms of sound enhancement common guys and girls lets be honest and give these budding new guys on the block a chance.. try it but dont have faith in it.....

Just great Mixer Boys
By: James
Great mixer for the price, superb, for a behringer product this really does bring the standard up 5 levels! :)

2007-10-28
i would recomend this mixer
By: ***JAY***
this mixer is the ticket for the price of it. the effects are good and the cross faders are brillant but as the rest of the djs say the BMP counters are shit. well worth the money

2007-10-28
I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this mixer, DJC
By: DJC
I started with a simple Numark mixer which came standard with 2 turntables. I mastered this and deicded to upgrade to a mixer which would give me more options on what i can do with my music.
The mixer has exclent sound effects which you can use while switiching between tracks. Also as im startin to do DJin Proffesionaly, im lookin to get cd decks aswel, and because of this mixer i dont have to change again to accomodate the new turntables.
Overall this is amazin for the price.
It may seem dear to start with, but believe me its worth it in the long run!

Best mixer ever!
By: Hutch
This mixer is unbeleavable its probably the best mixer out there for only £120!!!
No problems with whatsoever evrything works fine Behringer are one of the best makes out there

Great machine for the money
By: James
Like its been said, you cant compare with the djm600, but for the money, the crossfader is very nice, the look is brilliant, although not having a tempo button on the effects can get annoying, finding the right presets can add great effects into your mix. Although the up faders are too light for my liking, they stil work. People say that Behringer will wear out quickly, but you can get a cross fader for £12 so tbh, it doesnt make a difference to me.
overall great machine for the money

2007-06-15
Brilliant for the Price!!
By: Spectre
I was actually really excited to get this when i did and to tell you the truth it didn't dissapoint. The crossfader is spot on the upfaders are by no means perfect but glide easy for quick volume cuts. You will only use about 10 of the 40 something presets on the fx unit but the ones you use are pretty good. Haven't even looked at the BPM counter so can't tell you if it works or not!! but still has some flashing lights to make the mixer look cool in dark enviroments! ha ha Having 4 channels is a god send as i can now have my turntables and computer all wired up at the same time. Sweet. Kill switches seem pretty accurate but the levels of the upfaders only make a diffrence for the top 1 inch of the whole length. Brilliant for the money but i can't imagine it lasting longer than a year or two Max. Oh and the overall Sound quality coming out of the master out is a LOT better than i expected!!

Id think twice, restore my faith please
By: Steve A
Well folks i must have bought a duff one from DJ Store.
Just waiting to see if Behringer are going to replace it.
I have issues with the so called 500,000 slider cycles and have a effects vs volume issue too
Best of luck DJ Boys n Girls

Cant get more bang for your bucks
By: Darren James Mcghin (DJM)
I am not going to start with a DJM 600 comparison because you just cant for the price. Having used this mixer since it came out I am only now begining to ware it out. I havent had any problems with the X fader but have to agree with others experience of the up faders they are none to reliable and logarithmic in operation they can be replaced with linear faders by a good workshop and it makes a huge diference to the feel of the mixer without spending daft money. Some of the effects are resonable but most are not. I hate the mic channel being linked to the main out upfader and no the BPM meters dont work well. But hang on a min this thing cost me well under 200 quid and is still going strong after running 2-3 nights a week for nearly 3 years I think many a more expensive mixer would have croaked by now and when this one finaly gives up who cares buy a new one they are dirt cheap. I wish Behringer would bring out a MK2 and spend a little more on improving what is an already great value mixer.I have worked with better mixers, but not much better and never for this price.

ive had this mixer for 3 months now and its wicked, bpm counters may aswell not be there, but who needs them anyway. smooth crossfader, great sound effects, top notch for the price!!

By: Dave
this mixer is a beast! looks amazing and has everything u want, the price is outstanding and dj store delivery is second to none.great for home use and iv used it for club use aswell.some people say the beat match is out, mine is fine even with heavy bass settings! but then agian if ur a true dj then u wont even need the beat matcher!!

Excellent value, a definate winner
By: Dj Kastro K
What outstanding value for money! Theres lots to play with and has 4 channels which is handy. Obviously the quality of the djm 500 isnt there but what do u expect for a fifth of the price. Vol faders are bit loose and bpm counters are a bit out, but u dont need them anyway if ur a proper dj!!! Overall a great buy ull be happy with it. Also great service from djstore again!

By: Danger white
I was personnally very impressed with this mixer. First of all the price is very reasonable and and have yet to fine a better 4 channel mixer for the price! Also the effects are good once you learn which one is which. Worth every penny!

Very good mixer
By: JMO
This is an outstanding mixer for the price you pay. I have played on many mixers and i honestly believe that it is better quality than any other sub £500 mixer. Some of the previous reviews try to compare it to the pioneer djm600, this is very unfare as it is almost 5 times the price. I use the mixer in a club bar and i have had no problems. Also the online pictures make it look plasticy and cheap, wheres it is a stainless surface with good polymer rotary dials. Only bad point is that the bpm counters don't work, but if u need them then should u really be buying a 5 channel mixer?

2005-10-24
Superb mixer total bargain
By: DJ Micky'B
As a professional Trance dj this was my 2nd mixer i bought after the smx-301.
The sound that comes from this mixer is a good quality maybe the frequencies arent as reactive as the allen-heath or pionerr mixers but the price fairly reflects this. The kills are effective and the effects once used and memorised will provide you with a brilliant finish to your mix regardless of bedroom or club dj. I would strongly urge any starting dj or professional dj alike on a budget that this is the best mixer you will buy for the money, i used this mixer in scotland at some top clubs and i dont think the bpm counters work but then a good dj should learn this art themselves!. Anyway, starting dj's and amateur dj this is a good mixer to get you use to the top models which this is taken off and you wont feel so helpless in future should you come across a legendary pionerr or allen and heath mixer

Outstanding Mixer
By: Jordan Richardson
I got this mixer a few months back and really have only started to use it now. it is outstanding the effects are wicked and can be used all the time to really make your set sound good. i would really recommend this mixer to any starting to DJ.

Excellent Buy !!!
By: Dj DiRtY
This Mixer Is The Best Around For The Price, Ive Had Mine For Quite Awhile Now And Its Been Thru Quite Alot. I See Lots Of People Callin It Pants But Thats Cos They Dont Look After It. The Only Think I Can Say Lacks On This Mixer Is The Bpm Counters They Only Work Now And Again But I Dnt Really Need Them Anyway...

2005-07-19
3/5
By: Elliot
This would potentially be a good mixer, if the components weren't so low quality. I bought mine just over a year ago and after about 3 months the channel faders started crackling - Most of the time, when the fader is moved to the top end only the left or right channel comes out and I have to fiddle with the fader to get the other side back - not god for a live scenario. When the faders do work, they seem to have no effect in the bottom 60%, then the volume suddenly sweeps from off to maximum in the last 40%. The same can be said for the 3-band EQ knobs, especially the Low.
The effects are BPM locked so they obviously sound rubbish when used with 155 BPM hard house, the remaining 25% are all at different volumes so they have to be used carefully or there is either no effect, or the effect really overpowers the music. It does have external effect send / return capabilities, but these are selected using the PFL (headphone) selector, which is awkward.
The BPM counter only goes to 160 BPM, which is not that good, but the whole BPM counting system on this mixer is unreliable anyway and regularly reports the wrong BPM, so I do not use it (not that I would need to!). The Beat Assist button seems to calculate the right BPM when I tap it, but as soon an I stop tapping it, it goes out of time within about 3 seconds.
The kill switches have no Punch capability - they either lock on or off. It would be nice to have 3-way toggle switches (lock, no kill, punch), like the Numark Matrix series.
This mixer could easily be re-engineered as a simple 4-channel mixer without the whole of the right hand side (XPQ, BPM Counter & Effects). Then they could use the money saved to put good quality channel faders and dedicated external Effect Send controls in and it would be a really good mixer, but overall it's not at the moment.

ok if your on a low budget
By: horny_dan
iv had this mixer jus over a year now. at first i faught it was excellent, and it is good for the price however it really isnt anything special, channel faders are to responsive at the top end, it has a really light feeling and this makes it feel cheap, the over use of plastic also gives a cheap feel. i dnt take attention to bpm counters but they never seem to be flashing with basslines. effects r ok and its a good mixer to learn on however i wud have a look round at other mixers in the price group especially from numark as there low end mixers r spot on, if u want the best mixer go for a djm600 from pioneer, the one they copied the layout of.

2005-06-26
Great choice!
By: Neil King
Had this a few days and am very impressed. Upgraded from a numark dm1050 and after a day to get used to the different layout and cue controls can really tell a diference when mixing, the kills are superb and i find some of the effects add that little bit more to your set.Having said that iv never used them before so i cant compare it with external effects. Bpm counters are good as a rough guide if you need them by tapping the beat assist and sync lock buttons but i find it easier to ignore the counter in general. Overall money well spent and i cant wait to get on it again....in fact, going on it now!

2005-06-11
overall great mixer
By: Dj hyper
Ive had this mixer for 4 days now and i think its mint. The effects are ok but i only use the flanger and the reverb. its greart valune for money and i would recomend it to everyone. The only thing i'm disapointed with is the gain on the channels i think it can be a bit to high.

BUY ONE!!!!!!
By: DJ JONNIE S
This mixer for the price is excellent, people who compare this mixer with the pioneer djm 600 is just bein stupid coz there in 2 different classes, but i have to say that the djx 700 mixer is just as good of sound quality and if you don't want to spend a lot on a mixer i recommend this to any1, iv been djin for 12 month now and this mixer is gr8 for the price!!! buy one !!!!!!

great vfm lacks build quality
By: Jason Carroll
This mixer is great for the price, it is a pioneer djm 500 at heart but lacks the quality I was impressed by the sound it produced, but the eq does not start to work until the end of the twist, and being a house dj you need total control over the eq small adjustments are to sudden, but for 150 of your queens finest sterling it's well worth a look if thats your budget range I would have kept is but it was not upto my standard. xone 32 please

wicked mixer
By: DJ Collision
This mixer is a quality product for the price you pay. Okay, the beat counters arn't very accurate, but who uses them any way. If you want a good mixer for a beginner or intermediate dj this is the mixer to buy. It has everything on it apart from 2 mic inputs.

2004-09-21
Great mixer, low price, not so great BPM counter
By: DJ Turn 180
Great mixer!!! I highly recomend it. It is siimilar to the Pioneer DJM600 but less expensive. The 47 effects add a new feel to even the oldest record in your bag. Useful in just mixing or even if you scratch. Do not buy the mixer for the BPM counter. It is kinda sketchy on picking up the beat and defualts to it's error message easily. However you are able to tap along with thte beat to help pick it out . But it is still better to beat match by ear anyways. But the mixer over all is more than worth the price. I doubt you'll be sorry for buying it. I know I wasn't.

2004-07-30
excellent, does it all what it says, and the price for it, no complaints!!
By: DJ Excite
ive had this mixer over a year now, and i cant complain. it does everything it says it does. yeah, ok the effects arnt outstandin, but the effects dont make a set, the dj does. that matters more. it took me a few weeks 2 get used to it. ever since i did, ive really enjoyed using it. also, everything still works like how it did on day one!! excellent i say! for the price, no one can complain!!

If a Pioneer is too dear, lend an ear to the mixer with cheer
By: Davey G
Alright, the Fx unit is pretty much pants with the exception of the filters.THe BPM counters cant really make their mind up,but thats probably cause Im not mixing house.Otherwise this is one seriously good mixer.Love the faders, layout and controls.Sound quality is nice, cant hear any of that BPM hum.Cant afford a Pioneer?Settle for the next best thing.

DON'T COMPARE....EXPLORE & CREATE !!
By: Don
For people to compare this with pioneer.Just use looks, i've used many mixers in europe from a lowly Phonic up to rane, matamp and beyond. This mixer falls into the BUDGET TOP END and gives you a feel of more expensive mixer and so take it as that.
I bought one on the same premise and it's just down to getting used to it.How many dj's mastered the Formula Sound mixers first time? Mixer build is ok,EQ FAB. Kills Better than most. VCA crossfader's a dream, just use upfaders for harsh trim then you'll be ok.good xmas present for bedroom Jock..
EVEN The Best Jocks started with BSR's

You get what you pay for...
By: The Bachelor
I've only used this in a club. If you know what to expect its ok, the faders have a good curve and the eq's cut off's are good. The only FX i used where the filter (61) and the flanger (40) if you tap the beat assist button you can get the effect to be in sync with the beat...to an extent. The sound quality is nothing special, there is a hum from the unit which i think is caused by the Beat Counters, which with a large P.A. system is'nt too bad, but if your recording a mix I dont think it would be good. If you need a four channel mixer on a budget, you can't do worse!

2004-07-26
Preety decent
By: The Sweet FA - www.DjFlashUk.Cjb.Net
Bpm counters - poo! Outputs - poo!
mixer - preety decent, the djx700 is there to try n match the pdj600 no doubt about it. Does it though? No. Dont get me wrong, it is a decent mixer. But, the faders are slightly to light, having mic out only on master output is bad for recordings. Effects, about only 30% are worth it, mixing easiness, good for blending, not for scratchers. Worth £189, yep by far!
overall, if u dont mind having a few glitches have it, otherwise save for the pdj. If u dont need a 5 channel mixer and dont want effects. Go for the vmx300, cheaper and better truss me!

2004-07-14
Great Value
By: hartless
First please take a step back and look at the price of this mixer, and what it offers. Nothing else on the market gives you this much for under £200.
The long argument concerning Behringer build quality is non existent imo, they are as solid as products twice the price, everything works, it just might not last as long.
I upgraded from a 2 channel gemini mixer. The Behringer has better preamps, total kills, 2 main outputs, split cue and a nice effects section that does just what it says on the tin (the filters especially) The faders are all smooth, but yes a little steep on the upfaders. The crossfader curve is adjustable making scratching etc possible. The beat counters are really just a quirk and only give a useful reading on basic house beats-don’t bother to look at them for DnB! Oh yeah, its got four channels plus a full mic channel too!
If you need an installation mixer or one that has to tour the world you probably can afford to go and buy a pioneer and then another as back up. The extra money goes on the name, better effects, faders and balanced outputs – not huge differences. The rest of us should see what a deal this mixer is, leaving more to spend on vinyl!

You bad reviewees probably work for Pioneer . . .
By: Ell
To be a professional DJ you need to learn to adjust to different equipment. This is not a DJM-600. But remember: The DJM-600 is not this either. They are two completely different mixers, though they look the same. They both have their good and bad points but personally, I prefer this one. The channel faders are steep, the FX are a bit lower quality but it does have send/return so use some of the £450 you save to buy a KaossPad or something. If you are used to the Pioneer, this WILL be different. But the same applies if you are used to using this mixer. It's just a matter of learning how to use each mixer individually and not comparing two different manufacturers. Be wise - dont pay £450 extra just for the name.

2004-06-26
For the money its excellent and outshines any other sub £200 mixer no problems.
By: DjDemonD
Please ignore those who say that this mixer is not as good as the DJM600. They are not meant to be compared.
Despite its appearance its about 1/3 of the cost. The effects are excellent, the upfaders though fairly severe (they fade in at about 7/10) are smooth and as long as you remember they arent very progressive you're laughing. The beat counters are better than on cheaper mixers but not very good, but we all know no one uses em anyway. The cross fader is smooth and so far reliable, there arent any features you dont get unless you want top end digital equipment I'd throughly recommend it to anyone who considers themself an intermediate or semipro dj and who doesnt have £600 to spend on a pioneer.

2004-05-05
good value for money $£$£
By: dj dibby dougherty
as you can see from the list of reviews there are a wide range of comments on this mixer-but these critics mustnt know as much as they think as i have purchased this mixer in replacement for my stanton rm3s as i needed more channels, this mixer has done me proud and always performs brilliantly, im not too fussed on the effects but im loving the equalisers, layout and general look of the mixer. its not a djm 600 but it is fantastic value for money-there is no other mixer on the market as good as this for as cheap as this-well done Behringer!

2004-04-17
Buy this mixer!
By: DJ Flex
I've had this mixer for about 2 months now. I can agree with some of the previous comments (about the upfader curves being too sharp), however that isn't anything to worry about at all. The build quality isn't perfect - i can't afford a DJM at the mo, and this is one step towards it (but not to be compared with them!). For what you pay for, it's a good sturdy mixer and does offer a lot of inputs, seperate booth output etc. The fader does feel a tad flimsy but for straight mixes most dj's should not have any gripes.

2004-03-30
disappointing
By: John
I had this mixer a week and one of the up faders had already gone, by the time i had sent it back the effects button was also suspect. The build quality of this mixer is poor and the up faders have almost no response at the bottom end and then become sensitive very quickly at the top end. If you have used the likes of allen and heath or pioneer mixers then don’t bother, you will only be disappointed. This is a good beginner mixer but i would advise spending an extra £100 and getting a better built mixer, with less features.

2004-03-17
dont be fooled
By: expance
whilst this is a great option for a beginer mixer or a non serious mixer, anyone wanting more out of dj-ing dont bother. This isnt the DJM 500/600 this is a mixer that is and feels like a 200 pound mixer, the quality is lacking. If you only have small money to spend, dont buy this, buy a very good basic 2 channel mixer for around 150-200 without effects then buy an effects module for 150 quid when you can afford it.

2004-02-06
£200 yes £600 no!
By: Big Nick
The only plus sid of this mixer is that the eq pots have more range than the DJM 5/600. But please understand the DJM 600 is 3 times and price and 3 times the mixer, if i was to play out in a club and see the DJX 700, I would get my DJM and set it up next toit, so that I can use the faders proerply, I can see what effect I am going to select and be safe in the knowledge that my DJM will never let me down. (I haven't had to change any if my faders in the 3 years I have owned the mixer.Don't buy the Behringer..youwill regret it 100%! Take it from a working, highly productive DJ.

Excellent value for money mixer
By: DJ Coombes
For basic mixing and home djing this mixer is excellent value for the money. It is unfair to compare it to the djm500/600 and if you do so you are bound to be disappointed. Compare it to other mixers around this price though and it's a different story. The faders, kills and eq all do their jobs adequately and the monitoring section is very comprehensive. To my surprise even the effects are useable, although they are somewhat limited, the delays/echoes only being really effective at certain fixed tempos. On the down side the beat counters are next to useless for all but the simplest beats so don't expect this mixer to be the answer to your beat matching prayers if you can't already match a beat by ear. However you can manually tap the bpm counter button to get a rough idea of a tracks tempo which will give you a head start. I've had the mixer for a couple of months now and i've had no problems with faders wearing, maybe i'm lucky. Overall this really is an great value mixer, particularly if, like me, you really need 4 input channels.

2004-02-06
im not impressed !
By: Joe Swainson
Ive had this mixer nearly five months now and yes it has the fancy efects and total kills etc plus is very cheap, but this sadly reflects on the build quaity. My upfaders have gone the head phone adjuster is very dodgy and the inputs are extremely poor which means the sound will somtimes only come out of one speaker your better of spending the large sum of money elsewhere.

2004-01-08
what a beauty!!!!
By: omegaman
ive had this mixer for a fortnight now and it is superb.I have been mixing for two years on my housemates DJM500 and as far as the mixer section goes the 700s eq section is superior(honestly!)the fx are not a patch on the djm500 and the bpms suspect but who needs them!! if your worried about buying one dont be you will be glad you did!I oh and it looks absolutley stunning too!

2003-11-19
its a bit of alright

This mixer is a bargain for the dosh, the djm 500 is around 200 squid more expensive, superb eray of features although the faders do go. I had this mixer 3 months two upfaders are dodgy already, this has annoyed me due to the interferance during your mix, that reminds me i need to invest in a mini hoover to clean my connectors.

Recomended
By: yan
I own a club. Have bought the 700 a couple of weeks ago. Have had several d.j's play on it. sound is great, build is good too. The main complaint is that the channel slides have almost no response at the bottom end, and become extremely sensitive at the high end.

Excellent Mixer
By: D.J.N>R>G
Firstly, one complaint, the bpm counters are rubbish...but then anyone buying this mixer will probably be able to beat match so thats no real problem. Apart from that, this mixer is absolutley unbelieveable value for money. The gains/kills are very effective, the whole mixer feels strong. The effects are actually really very good, something i wasn't really expecting, i thought they were a bit of a gimmick, but i've been proved wrong. Basically, if you have £220 to spend on a mixer, then buy this, you won't be dissapointed!

One hell of a mixer!
By: dj t o m p e a r s o n
I got this mixer about a week ago, and nothing has gone wrong so far. The effects are mind blowing and all the faders and rotary controls are sturdy. The overall build of the mixer is great, and the brushed aluminium face plate makes it look very professional. Even if your not on a tight budget, i would give this one a look. The only flaw i have found is that when playing a track very loud, there is a slight hiss that is generated fom the bpm counters. This is very minor, but should be taken into consideration. Overall excellent!

Good for bedroom!!
By: BROMSKI
This mixer is value for money!! It has some good features and some you world probably never use!! Compared to the 2 pioneer mixers it's not in the same class. If you have the money buy the pioneer if not you will be happy with this.

The best of 200$ mixer ^_^
By: DJBeer
Why everybody always compares the behringer djx700 with pioneer djm600 despite the fact that the price is totally different. The behringer and pioneer is in the different class. It is not correct to compare it with pioneer. You should compare it with the other 200$ mixer! I think behringer is the best 200$ mixer. However because of its looks, people tend to compare it with djm600!

I have used the pioneer 500, 600 and every other brand mixer. The pioneer mixers have too much output and too much disortion, even if you turn the gains down. It kills your monitor speakers because the output levels are so high and the master gains on the back have no affect on the booth output., you can only put the booth level on about 2 max. If the djx 700 had a hamster switch and curve control for the channel faders (like their vmx 300 does), i would have given it a 5 star. I own the vmx300 as well and i like it better than my vestax 07 pro (which lacks a booth output....why??)Someone needs to make a 12.5 inch 4 channel mixer that has the items for scratching and mixing both. In other words, combine the djx 700 and vmx 300 please. Some of us mix house/techno/breaks/trance like its hip hop:)

What a piece of KIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By: DJ Dave
Sorry guys..I have compared this mixer against a Numark DMX 04 and a Pioneer DJM600, owned by a friend. Yes the Pioneer was very nice and the Numark was impressive but the Behringer was as good and of course a lot cheaper. Take my advice. You wont go wrong with the behringer!

There is a lot better on the market!!!
By: Nick Cross
It has to be said there are quality djs and those who like to think they are. This unit is feature packed for the money. But if you are going to want a quality mixer with effects for only £200 don't buy this model or the gemini fx 7000, buy the numark dxm 06. The dxm out performs both units hands down. so all those wannabe djs who refuse to learn about the products in the market place. Try a djx 700 next to a djm 500/600 and write a review telling me how right i am not to give this mixer the time of day. dj store employees who should know there products i am sure agree. Great money spinner....but where is the quality??

A Fantastic mixer for the money
By: Dj Kenetek
I have been Dj'lng on the advance release version of this for about 2 months now. This mixer is everything it claims to be and then some. For the price it simply cant be beat. I have/ owned just about every brand there is and I would recomend this mixer to any bedroom/ mobile jock around.

Great mixer, pioneer users feels deceived.
By: Groovable
Rayz, did you notice the djx-700 has -32db of atenuation? pioneer has -20db i think, perhaps that was the difference in the sound. And djx has kill buttons, pioneer doesn´t. Anyway, it´s worth more than one star.

a well happy djx700 owner!
By: mark green
only had the djx700 a week and all l can say is that the negative reviews must be from undercover pioneer bosses!they ave gud reason to worry cos it shows how grossly overinflated there products are, when u can buy the djx700 at a fraction of the cost of the djm600 and the quality and features ARE JUST AS GUD IF NOT BETTER!!!!

£600 No £200 Yes
By: Nick Cross
People are comparing this mixer with Pioneer's industry standard DJM600. Dont. The Pioneer is 3 times the price and 3 times the mixer. This Mixer should be compared to the mixers around it,at £200. That is where this mixer is very good theres not much in that price range which can better it.

Woeful
By: Rayz
I was looking at mixers on Saturday, and had a guy in a shop in town feed me with a very impressive sales pitch about this mixer. He was very good, and almost had me going for a bit when he said it was superior to a DJM600. Sadly though, he asked if I would like to have a shot. The first thing I did was turn the Mid EQ right down, and the rest of the sound was completely swallowed up. To even compare this mixer to a Pioneer is an atrocity. How come we can't rate it 0 out of 5!!!???

Dont be fooled by the low price tag on this outstanding mixer
By: Ian Hanley
Im a Dj & I worked big clubs & used pioneer djm 500 / 600s. Behringer have created a mixer that matches the pioneer, its not a copy of the pioneer, Its in a class of its own, Cos its cheaper don’t mean that its not as good, profit on the pioneer is massive, this is where behringer make the cuts providing a top class mixer for the price the pioneer should be. its an outstanding mixer, sound quality is amazing, alot of testing has gone into bringing this product to us dj's, People say they have a noise from the beat counter, SO! Pioneers do the same, this is not audible through the amp, it only lasts for first 5 mins the mixer is powered up. Its not a problem and it is over exaggerated by other reviews who have obviously never noticed this before in the pioneer. Behringer make very high quality studio equipment & have passed this high quality down to the new dj range. I‘d choose this mixer over the pioneer any time, I can only recommend this mixer, I cant make you buy it, But i can say that this mixer beats the pioneer hands down, & with the amazing price offered by dj store you would be stupid to miss out. Keep it real, Buy it, Enjoy It & be proud of it.

Behringer should change their slogan from
By: Steve Moore
The features are great, and just like the pioneer to look at, but there it ends. The noise created by the bpm displays renders the desk unusable, just wait till the desk has worked out the bpm of two decks and the noise doubles (even when you have all your gains and outputs set to zero.

Great Mixer for the money!
By: ScottJ
Considering the price, this mixer is outstanding! The only bad thing i have to say about it is that the bpm counters can generate a little too much noise at times, but you won't notice it unless you get a big chunk of silence in the middle of a track. I've only had mine for 2-3 weeks so not sure on life of faders other than what it says on the box. If cash is an issue then get this mixer, if not, get the pioneer djm600.
