Don't get me wrong these carts sound great and are virtualy skip proof BUT.... so are m44-7's, which at half the price of the ortofons, are way better value. 2005-11-12

Sick Cartridges, I'd Marry Them

Intense. I've been loving these for about 7 months. They've taken more hammering than a hamster with cheeks full of MDMA. The sound quality is supreme, I bought these from this site and the price was the most reasonable I've seen. I now have four turntables set up and I am about to buy another pair to put on my Numark TTX1s. My other pair are on my technics, and the frequences come out with amazing grace. Decided on getting these because i needed a new scratch needle/cart and i trusted i would stick with the good old ortofon concorde... i must say it was money well spent,... it still is going strong and delivers a great sound for the scratch. 2004-01-06

The best thing about these carts is the sound quality, 7mv output means the sound is really warm and bassy, but still crystal clear hi hats n snares. Obviously being scratch concorde, the tracking on em is real smooth and virtually skipless providing your decks r done correctly and the hole in the centre of record isnt lopsided and loose on the spindle. 2003-06-07
