A Dj's Dream
By: Darren
ive got 3 of these decks and money well spent.
with these decks with even finer pitch than the pios (4%) is totally assume.
the use of a sampler on a live gig is amazin. this is a truely a remix tool.
pio user wud find it wierd converting to the 3500 coz they wound use the pitch bend buttons which are a must on this deck.
scratching is unbievable unnoticable from vinyl scratching.
effects...well the selling point here , there like a effects procser built in.. top notch.
cue store!!!!
built like a tank!!
hope this has helped...

By: dj micky
these decks are cheif with out a doubt far better than the pioneer cdj 1000 mk3 the fact that u can scratch your sample is really good and i love the big build ups it can do using the trimming on your loops and then pitch bend. Its amazin all round and if your considering buying one deffly go ahead with it and buy this bad boy you wont be disapointed i can guarente you that. o and when you buy it get the hardhouse kicking out of her lol yyeeerroooo

jeff@brightonrecords.com
By: Jeff Thompson
Had mine about 8 months now and i still look forward to playing them.
The layout of controls is good though personally i'm not a fan of the rubber buttons - the EFX buttons are metal and to me feel a little more positive, but hey that's just my preferance.
The EFX are outstanding and the turntable is actually a DIRECT DRIVE motor unlike the Pioneers that are actually belt driven (though few people know this). As above you chop the tracks in frames unlike pioneers - though pioneers appear easier to use (we can't have it all ways)
Used mine in a club once and another DJ came in and refused to use them - basically he was too scared of them... Knob!
5 out of 5 for build quality, layout, EFX and value for money

Total Quality and Great Features
By: Andy West
Ordered just after 4 on a thursday from dj store, arrived with me in the ne of england by 8.30 the next day. Must have drove all night.
had now for 2 weeks and first impressions are excellent. It is a little more complex than the pios, but then, that's why i bought it because of all the extra features. Effects are killers and work so easily. I was able to update the firmware on the new release very easily. A totally quality product. And totally quality service from djstore.

fantastic alround machine
By: Rico e liso
Had these for about 6 months now which i think has given me ample time to consider a balanced review.
In short, the dns3500 is a worthy upgrade from the dns5000 - it feels more stable, have effects and a better sensitivity on the platter.
Another strong selling point is the loop function, which is far superior to the cdj1000 in that when trimming the loop it breaks the song up into frames (rather than seconds), which enables seemless loops that stay in time.
Only draw back is the lack of a 'wave form' (as on cdj1000), which means you sometimes feel like your djing in the dark since you have no clear indication of any upcoming breaks. Since many djs use this feature on the cdj1000, this could prove a great stumbling block for denon.

If your're tempted... Do as Nike say
By: Markie Mark
Purchased from dj store on 8.02.05. And delivered the next day!
the decks look the part, and i still get goosebumps when i approach them and play my set.
chose these over the pioneer cdj1000's because of the mp3 capability.
i agree the features are a little tricky to use - especially the loop sampler but the effects are the dogs bo^£%cks!
i also purchased a numark dmx usb mixer and use both the decks and my traktor software on the same set.
screw 3 decks carl cox... Its 4 decks for me!

Quality!
By: Carl Venezia
I only got myn 2day, first thing i noticed is that Quality is outstanding! they have to be the best decks i have ever used, not the easiest to get to grips with at first as in term os effects and loops but a couple of hours practice and ill be unstopable! I think pioneer need to watch out, new industry standard perhaps?

Step aside Pioneer, your time is up!
By: Dan
I agree with John who written the first review of this product. I didn't actually purchase my pair from DJ Store but thought I should give potential buyers the thumbs up! This cd player is what all others should be judged on. The platter, effects & build (need I go on!) are superb. have not given 5 out of 5 as is a bit difficult to get your head round at first.

Best CD turntable I have ever used
By: John
I purchased this about a week ago. This will kick pioneer CDJs a$$ anyday. The spinning platter is heavy duty and feel like technics 1200s . All I can say its time to upgrade your players. other features like built in sampler, effects and loop is also a bonus. All though i may never really use that since my mixer already has those feature its still a joy to use. and another thing is its upgrade by USB.
If you dont agree with what is written here
add your own review.
