make no mistakes about this wonderful kit and don't be deceived by the look price. this is fantastic. i have been using this along side me virtualdj/cue software and not one glitch yet. excellent sound. ideal for bridging software and traditional dj hardware.

Great quality, great price.

Works a treat with Virtual DJ and Timecoded Vinyls. Easy to set up, cheaper that an actual Numark box etc, works just the same.

Excellent, can't praise it enough!

Make no mistake, at just over 70 quid you may think this is built to a price and not up to the job, but this is definately no toy.
I bought one for a live set and it's performance is outstanding, with the bundled ASIO drivers I had latency down to 4ms at 48000khz. No glitch's and no dropouts.
A truly excellent soundcard and there is nothing to touch it at this price, i looked at them all, although excellent in it's own way not even the Numark DJ I/O comes close, and for another few quid you may as well go for this!
Yeah it might not have a fancy metal case or nice looking knobs to tweak, but if it does the job and does it well who cares?

Basic, Stable, Dope sound..
By: DJ Tommi Bass
I've just splashed out on a new Notebook to produce music on. The Maya 44 USB is a basic Soundcard with only 16 BIT output at 44.1 and 48hz, 4 IN 4 OUT if you use the ASIO Driver within your host software/app.
The low-down,the Maya 44 USB is a wicked bit of kit.The sound is clean and kinda warm. The soundcard works well in all my software, eg SX,FL 5,Sony Sound Forge 7 and so on..

At DJ Store we strongly promote the idea that best people to review products
are the people that use them on a daily basis.
We want to hear your comments and we want you to share them with our customers -
but we also have a few rules:
- The Best reviews are short (no more than 500 words).
- Stay on topic - stay relevant to the product.
- Write in proper english and keep it clean or it won't be published.
- Feel free to suggest a similar product that you feel is better.
- No links, phone numbers, website addresses etc will be published.
- Most important of all - think about it!
Before you write simply "this mixer is junk" and submit it -
think about who else would be using it?
You can't compare a £50 mixer with a £500 one -
so consider the price when writing.
We want you to tell us the good and bad points about our products -
but remember the best reviews don't just say whether you liked
or disliked a product, but also why !
