Seen a 'too good to be true deal' on Sennheiser products ?

It probably is - be very careful about buying Sennheiser products from auction sites and from unauthorised dealers - the UK market is currently flooded with fake Sennheiser headphones and microphones - see Sennheiser's website for more details.

DJ Store is an authorised Sennheiser dealer, and only sells genuine Sennheiser products supplied by Sennheiser UK.

Nice units, but the sound is a bit 'trebly'.
By: Mick Armitage

Ordered the units during the afternoon, and they arrived around 10 am the following morning - excellent service DJStore! If this store has the product you're interested in, don't hesitate to purchase from here! As for the 'phones' themselves, I have to admit to being a little disappointed with them. I had read a few reviewers remark that the bass reproduction from these units was rather limited; however, as I have never been one for a very 'bassy' sound, I assumed that these headphones would be fine for me. In the event, I do find them to be a little disappointing in this area. The units are well made, very light and comfortable, and I like the detachable, one-sided, chord idea. Also, I don't agree with the few reviewers who have remarked that the units appear 'bulky' (considering that they are 'full ear cupping' types). The sound is clear, and the units give good volume (relative to the volume setting on your audio unit). Their only weakness lies in the tonal quality: While true bass is reproduced well enough, I feel that it is the lower end of the mid-range that is lacking. Mid-range sounds, such as vocals, normal guitars, piano, etc. sound very 'trebly' - almost to the point of sounding harsh. Conclusion: if you like a 'trebly' sort of sound, you may be happy enough with these units, but if you like a more 'bassy' sound - one with more 'body', you really need to be looking at some other model. 2007-07-24
