Good until the pressure is on

Yeah so i was praising them then, and as the other guy mentioned the cracks are annoying to say the least. It's been under a year and the left cone has died. I've taken it apart to check what's wrong but there must obviously be an internal fracture somewhere which is very annoying. Overall the sound is still awesome but Sennheiser seriously need to have a re-think on whatever plastic they're using for the strap as it can't take the pressure. 2004-04-06
Questionable build quality.

Yeah the sound quality is stunning, but after 5 weeks the headstrap on my pair started developing small cracks. Djstore were very swift to send out a replacement, but after just 4 days a huge crack has appeared in the headstrap of the new pair. I'm amazed that this problem has occured twice in such a short time, and i'm now having to pay huge postage costs to once again return the product. I feel that sennheiser have either made a dodgy batch which needs a recall, or that the design of the headstrap is rubbish and should be looked at.

i hate to put down headphones which could be so brilliant, but right now i'm seething at the build quality, and for that i can't justify awarding this product a higher score. 2004-03-31
Excellent value for money

Excellent headphones. Fit very comfortably to around the ear, not onto it, which makes them much easier to wear for longer periods than other headphones. Bass pickup is good, and the highs are crisp and clear at high volumes... Top dog! 2004-01-08
Brilliantly powerful

Well what can i say? they block out pretty much all surrounding sound giving you crisp clear sound. They're perfect for monitoring in the studio and work great for DJing, although if you're listening to loud music through these for a long time you could find yourself without hearing for a time. So be warned they are brilliantly powerful.
