Mobile DJs are always asking us for a compact and impressive centre piece for their lighting rig. The Equinox Triclops is exactly what you have been looking for.
The centre of the fixture fires out dozens of red, green and blue beams reflecting from mirrors around its perimeter. Instead of being powered by a halogen lamp, it's equipped with Ultra Bright LEDs that consume a fraction of the energy, have a much longer 50,000-hour lamp life and produce pin-sharp beams with or without fog or smoke.
Great for every DJ from club to mobile to bedroom, the Equinox Triclops is an exciting centre piece effect which creates an incredibly dramatic effect projecting amazingly bright, sharp LED beams that pan and tilt over a wide area.
Compatible with a standard DMX-512 controller, the Equinox Triclops features 8 DMX channels. It can also be run without a controller in Sound Active mode; just turn it on and it will chase to the music via its built-in programmes. Multiple units can also be linked together in Master/Slave mode for a large and spectacular in-sync light show.

Same as the previous person, I wanted something to add a bit of movement to the show, its a high powered fan cooled effect. what I liked is, if left in auto run , it will scroll at a slower pace, around the room, which is what we all want from scanners! and the trick is that when in sound mode, to adjust the level so it is just moving the mirrors, which gives a great effect. For the money there great, I brought 2 in the end linked together, Also the arriba bag , AC 125, holds 2 off these lights perfectly, with a removable divider, in the middle to seperate them.

After a lot of research, into some new lights for my disco, I opted for a pair of these. I wanted something that would complement my existing LED lighting, but would also provide more of a scanner effect around the room. These are great effects and very glad I bought a pair of these rather than a single centre piece - although for smaller venues I'm sure it would be fine. It's good also that these lights come with a DMX cable included in the box !
