Ok mics but can do a lot better.

I have used the KWM1940 for a couple of years as a singer. The clarity is very good but Im sorry to quote a cliche... You do get what you pay for. Ok, if you're on a tight budget you can do a whole lot worse than buy these. I still have mine as emergency backups but they will start to make a loud bang when switching on or off after some time. Also feedback is a major problem with these Kams. If you can stretch to spending more then look at Shure or sennheiser which really do sound so much better.. 2009-06-23

I purchased the KWM 1940 system as a low cost backup for an existing radio system, but after using the mics on several occasions, I have uprated this to my main mic. Quality of build is excellent and the performance is outstanding, with crystal clear vocals for both announcements and for vocalists. The system is good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone.
