Best Mixer EVER.

Absolutely amazing. Effects leave you speechless. May be built mainly for house & hip hop, but it's brilliant for any type of genre. I've been mixing DnB for nearly 7 years and I wouldn't swap it for anything else! 2006-04-21

not sure what the last review is talking about with effects not working...i've had mine 2years and its never failed me once, i dj on average 3 times a week and i use it everytime...xfader has a 5 year warranty so you can send it back for a replacement..awesome mixer...kicks A&H wack effects no doubt! wider parameters, volume control and the sound quality and effects quality makethe Pioneer sound like 'toys-r-us-my-first-mixer'! i'm after a NUO4 now...time to join the digital revolution!! had the nuo 5 for about a month now and so far i cant fault it apart from the 'eternal crossfader' is too slidy but an alternative crossfader with more resistance is suplied with the mixer anyway. layout is very good with plenty of space between all the controls wich are all very smooth particualy the GIANT KNOBS, effects are spot on theres even a vocoder (vocode your own voice if you want?)
and sound quality equals my old allan and heath 2005-11-01
Effects? Yes! Award winning xfader? Ha!

Brilliant mixer, but the crossfader broke after 10 days. Effects are out of this world, well worth the money, but I'd go with Allen & Heath all the way. Effects sometimes do not work, so you have to switch the mixer off and back on again.
