Boasting the most comprehensive effects available in a 2-channel unit and astonishing sound quality, the DJM909 takes DJs outside the existing boundaries of performance to stand alone as the ultimate battle mixer. The DJM909 is an amazing unit that boasts precise cross fader and fader curve control technology. Using the independent fader adjustments, DJs can go beyond the symmetrical type of curve adjustment available on conventional mixers.
Uniquely, this unit supports the use of an optional foot pedal as an effects controller for almost limitless flexibility. Even more impressively, either channel can be set to reproduce the audio of the other, so that 2 effects can be applied simultaneously to 1 track.
The DJM909 also includes an Auto BPM Counter that lets you see an instant readout of a song's tempo on-screen – no matter how complex the musical style – and continue your mix without losing momentum. Using the integrated touch-sensitive screen, you can access 50 different BPM sync’d effects on each channel. The screen can also be used for quick access to 9 pre-selected effects, or to assign the fader effect function to the cross fader or either volume fader.
The DJM-909 truly boasts the widest variety of effects in a 2-channel unit and gives you the extra edge to showcase all of your DJ skills and stretch your musical boundaries.

2007-07-31sweet faders!!

i've been on this mixer once or twice, and just to back everyone up this mixer is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the faders just feel sublime, and has a load of awesome sound effects, and plus the touch sensitive screen is pretty awesome too!! i don't know the mixers ins and outs but wat little i do know is that this mixer is quality its on my to buy list, get it!!!

I had reservations about this mixer to start with (mostly to do with the fact i couldn't see a sampling mechanism.)but believe me,this mixer does everything.
not only that, but the build and sound quality is second to none..and i have had a lot of mixers!
i tried it up against a ******x9 and it made it feel like a piece of plastic!
this unit can be used for smooth fades and sharp cuts,it's infinetly customizable!i mix all types of dance music and it addapts to all of them.
this is genuinely worth the money.

just looking at this mixer would raise your interests. more features than any 2 ch. mixer could possibly offer, but truly incredible precision in each feature. check out the controllable x-fader smoothness which really scared me, which allows you to have either a nice stiff fader to work those wrist muscles, or have your speed at the max with a smooth gliding fader. the sound quality is same to the djm-600, and the screen on it also adds ease and thumbs up! i haven't yet tested all the features on this mixer, but what i've already experienced is already getting me to save cash for one of these things! it's truly a 2 ch. mixer with the combination of a club mixer's features, reliability, sound quality and much more! expensive, but enough features to keep you wondering how much it REALLY costs!

It might seem pricey for just a two channel mixer but it worth every penny. The guy who wrote the review b4 was absolutely right. Its pure class!! Everything is adjustable and has enough features to keep u occupied for months and months. The best mixer I have every used

....he would mix on this little bitch! the mixer is pure, unadultered sex n a metal case, not literally of course but gosh, from the smoooooooth curves on the faders (all curves viewable on screen!!!), eq's r crisp n solid (plus u can turn them on off for uber-fast kills), tension adjustable c.fader (sexy) and most of all the effects are world class! only hermits and monks wont be turned on by this mixer *********** rating
