The NS7 Controller comes pre-configured to control the software of your choice, including Serato Itch and Numark's CUE DJ software. Loads of additional assignable MIDI controllers provide unprecedented software compatibility and user customizations.
Two high-torque, motorized 7" standard platters with a genuine vinyl interface provide pinpoint response with the look and feel of standard turntables. Illuminated easy-to-find controls help you to perform in any lighting conditions.
The NS7 Controller sends MIDI over USB at two to three times normal speed, at an extremely high resolution for the most accurate and precise software control available, while remaining 100% MIDI compliant. Custom controls are included for navigating your library without need for a mouse or keyboard.
High performance USB 2.0 that delivers pristine 24-bit audio. XLR (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) connections are ideal for the pro and semi-pro alike.

The NSFX is now included giving you full control over all the effects included within Serato Itch. 2009-08-06More expensive than its rival vci 300 but its not a patch on the NS7

Received the Ns7 about a week ago, soild build quality,good looks and easy to use. Pro's : Beat matching made simple with the feel of vinyl.Perfect for scratch dj's,and plays any genre with a great sound.No more messing around with a mouse,easy to scroll knob to find them all important tunes.Arranging all your tunes into crates is a must. Cons: Strip search can be a bit tempremental at times especially if you are heavy handed.Another downside is when you start a tune from the begining and then you stop the track,if you do not cue the start point it stops in the middle of the track, then you have to use the strip search to scroll back to the begining.if the strip search fails at any time,this could be a problem,as you would then need to use the vinyl to rewind back to the start of your track. The itch software is very basic and there are no effects on the console but you could get around that by using an external source with effects ..ie flanger pan bubble effects etc...Although the software is basic it does work really well with the NS7 and does what is says on the tin,providing the laptop/desktop is of a high spec with a fast processor and memory. Overall, the NS7 is a nice piece of kit and would be an excellent buy for any digital dj.and can with stand anything you can throw at it. Get rid of all those cd's,you just need your laptop and console with attached laptop bracket and you are away.........Recommended :)
