Great if you dont know how to mix.

This product is very good especially if you are new to mixing as it eliminates the need to be able to beatmatch or even understand the concept of DJing. If you see a DJ using this and cant mix then its probably his first time learning to mix so go easy on him. I hope this really improves the standard of nightclub dj's as it is a breeze to use! So if your new to DJing buy this product. 2009-05-17
Digital DJ-ing for DJ/producers rather than just DJ's

I dont know why people buy Serato when Traktor Scratch Pro is available. A better product in every way. The interface is well built and sounds amazing, the vinyl emulation is the best on the market with a higher resolution than its competitors. The software is rock solid stable and the effects inspire creativity. As a producer i find it more flexable than serato. i control two decks with control vinyl and two with a vestax vci 100. With properly prep'd tracks i can sync up 4 Decks in seconds and have full control over each channel on my outboard mixer allowing realtime remixing on the fly (sort of..) I've been using it for six months and i have only ever had one crash which i think was caused by another program on my system which i have since removed. I absolutely love Traktor and wont go back to serato unless they do something spectacular with the SL3 - stevej 2008-12-22

this is good but i went for serato as in my view has a better view on the music it has no bells and fancy bits as this but has done the job over and over again just like the 1200s i have if you want stable drivers and something that is one step ahead in the game serato is it if you want fancy bits this is for you 2008-04-21

gotta stay this is amazing. serious bit of kit. ive used serato scratch a lot but this edges it. on the surface it looks like a similar thing but dig deeper if you want to and you find so much more. i definitely recommend it. 2008-01-25
New Digital DJ Convert

This is an amazing piece of kit. It took me ages to decide whether I wanted to go down this route being used to analouge for quite some time. I'm glad I did, what a piece of kit. Thier is no real difference between this and real vinyl, their is no learning curve whatsoever. Make sure to upgrade to Traktor DJ so you can use 4 decks. Using this programme will allow you to sound like some of the best DJ's out their with sounds and effects that can't be done in normal analouge set-ups while still retaining the coolness of vinyl . 2007-12-03
Mindblowing!

This is one brilliant piece of kit. I have used FS1 for a couple of years but this blows it away. and with the update you get extra effects too. Seamless loops, very accurate bpm detection, and the timecode resolution is top drawer, no matter how much you slow the record down, you can't make out any loss of quality. a very nice piece of kit, was going to get serato scratch which is said to be the best on the market, however i needed to upgrade my soundcard as i had an edirol ua-25 which had very limited outputs. this comes with and 8in 8out sound card with midi in/out. perfect for my use and because its made by native instruments it will be fully intergratable with traktor following the next update. This tipped the boat for me and am happy to say i've not been dissapointed 2007-05-15

This kit is awesome!! I haven't tried any of the other manufacturers versions like stanton final scratch / serato but I wonder if they could keep up with this.

Basically the timecode is so tight it's just like using vinyl, I must add i'm no turntablist but i've tried to make the software screw up with various scratches and it's faultless.

The sound quality is ace, much better than my Audiotrak Maya 44 card I had before. Plus the soundcard is passive so you can play regular vinyl with the PC switched off.

You have to admire the genius engineering gone into this product....well worth the money!
