The Akai SynthStation 49 is the first true iPad performance tool for producers, DJs and musicians. Working seamlessly with SynthStation software, it offers a world of music creation possibilities, including direct in-app MIDI recording from the velocity-sensitive keyboard, a full array of transport controls and nine MPC-style drum pads. The SynthStation 49 is also iOS CoreMIDI compatible so it will work with dozens of apps already in the App Store with countless more on the way.
The iPad can be positioned exactly as you want it with the adjustable-angled cradle which also powers the unit while the USB/MIDI port allows you to control your favourite computer software.
