decent decks

ive had this piece of kit now for around 3 and half years. Its great im a club dj and a mobile and arry this lil thing around with me! it has a great sound quality but the olny downfall is there isnt a dual EQ! IF you have £200 to spend on this dual cd deck you could buy one numark axis 9 which are fantastic! any how the cd mix 1 is very good value with a decent screen! 2007-06-15

I purchased my original cd mix 1 when they first came onto the market about 4 years ago,it has had many hours of use on a weekly basis and is very user friendly,has great sound quality and is one of the best combination cd unit i have used.I would reccomend this unit to anyone! 2004-07-28

This is a good piece of kit from numark if your more comfortable playing cd's that records. The kit is ideal for both beginners and profesionals. It is easy to set up and work and suprisingly very light in weight. One thing i thought was good about this kit is that you can hook it up to your home pc and burn your mixes onto cd!
the only thing i have against it which is rather bizare is that it does not have a "stop" button on it! So you have to press "pause" then eject it the cd. Other than that, its handy-dandy.

Great piece of gear

Well what can i say! I bought this product around christmas time, n since then its been in constant use! Ive done around 10 gigs n i've found it to be perfect for all of em. I usually mix hip hop but sometimes do the odd bit of garage n trance n for this i find its great, although the x-fader is wearing a little thin at the moment. With eq controls for both channels it would easily be the best product on the market, but if budget allows then the cd mix 2 might be a better option. 2003-02-18

Foolproof, so it suits me. Single graphic equalizer not a problem. A headphones mixer/fader would be a welcome addition as would a reasonable cost box. Overall "bomb and idiot proof" and does what it says on the box. 2003-01-10

Very good all in 1 unit

The Numark CD Mix 1 is a great value and easy of use piece of equipment. As many people say the master equaliser is slightly annoying if you want to mix a track on the other channel with the bass turned down for example.The unit does not have anti shock but that does not really matter because it takes one hell of a shock to skip these decks. Another great feature about the unit is that because it is an all in one unit it can be added to a vinyl set up from the master output up to another mixer (i am hoping to do this very soon). Because of this it is posibble to use the cd decks as a sampler if you wish to. I have had alot of enjoyment from the CD Mix 1 and would recommend it to anyone wanting to start out. 2002-01-19

For a short period of time, i have had the cd mix 1 and it's great! Although in conclusion it does not have an equilizer for each channel. I would recommend it for begginer, intermediate and proffesional dj's.i also find the cd mix 1 easy to use.it's fabulous ! 2002-01-12

I am 12 years old and have just started up a mobile dj company. This piece of kit is the unit i use to play my tunes. I would like to say that it is a very good product for a mobile. Beginner or pro dj. And it.s great price just adds to the sweetness. ..the only things it needs are bass treble and middle controls on each channel... 2002-01-12

The numark cdmix1 is a brilliant product and easy way to get you going in the mobile dj scene.
I've had my cdmix 1 now for 2 months with great success

-fast start/stop
-easy cueing
-nice big lcd display

the only thing the cdmix 1 doesn't have is separate hi- Mid - Low equalizer buttons for each channel.. 2002-01-12
