An absolute fantastic piece of kit, didn't believe a word of it prior to purchase, took a gamble and bought it with the Numark 200FX mixer (DJstore package cheapest on the internet). Couldn't believe how fantastic the loop feature is, you can loop a loop within a loop apply phasing, scratching (+ many other effects) and create your own exclusive mixes 'LIVE'. The jog wheels are an absolute delight to use with ultra smooth rotation. The beatkeeper works best on club orientated tracks and is so easy to use. All buttons respond beautifully. I cannot recommend the CDN88 enough. 2006-08-30

Hello buyers/browsers, i got the numark cdn88 bought for me as a christmas present and probly the best ever gift. The beatkeaper is brilliant and hasn't mixed better since i spilt orange juice in it.lol. The cdn88 is top quality and strong and would recomend it to any one. Well worth money 2005-05-20

this deck amazed me as soon as i bought it. It is top notch by far it equals or even beats the top marked denons, vestax. Me and my mates r always mixing on it and it is so reliable the effects are superb. the scratch is like you r scratching a vinyl. I reccomend this to any dj bacause its coming out of a djs mouth. 2005-05-20

I had this product for my b day bout 2 years ago and it is great for the money i bought it when it woz £700 but i wernt complaining. I use it all the time and it is so reliable. this is better than the denon products by far easy to use and realy good scratching effects. I reccomend this to anyone who wants a cracking set for the money. 2005-01-15

The Numark CDN88 is such a sick deck! For the money your paying you should be happy your getting something similar to a denon for less then £400! The only bad thing is that my cue button stopped working, but thats my fault for not taking proper care!

Buy this deck if ur on a short budget. Remember, looks dont matter! 2004-07-26

I've had this deck for about 2 years and it's never given me a problem. The scratch and sound effects are better than the high priced Denon's and also easier to operate. I wish it had backlit buttons as the Denon's have but the CDN-90 took care of that problem. I think the best feature of this deck is the "key lock" which has really taken my mixes to a new level. You can speed up or slow down a track without getting that "mickey mouse" effect. Numark is on it's way to knocking Denon out of the top spot. 2004-06-21

Dennon, American DJ, Pioneer, gemini.. I have tried them and for the price you pay, this is the best ever! The first impression you'll get will be a confused one but just spend 10mins. exploring your favorite dance song on this and you'll will fall in love. The spinning has been said to not be real but if you have never spun before...who cares?! the effect is perfect for spinning a record backward to blend into another or to pump a beat in and out overlaying it on top of a song. When mixing, a key lock is a must and no other cd player has a better one than this +6 to -33 the tune of the artist's voice will never change. Dennon doesn't even have one. Cueing a song is absolutly instant as well at the stutter (green) button. Also the BPM beatkeeper will match any song to mix perfectly AUTOMATICLY - for best results only use it on techno style songs (progressive, house, trance, etc.) going on 2 years and still goin' strong. The ONLY problem is getting to a certain effect fast enough. PS - the cdn90 isn't worth the upgrade. 2004-06-09

I love this CD player. I have been using this for about a year and it hasn't let me down once. The controls look a bit complicated but it is actually easy to use (I nver use most of these features) -- I have only used the loops feature and if you get the cue in and cue out bang on the beat, it works fantastic. You can extend those phrases that you like for great effect. The cueing up of the tracks is a joy too since you really can feel the beat as you roll over it. The only thing that could have been better is the size of the jog wheel -- it feels a bit wee. But all in all, this a tight piece of gear. 2004-03-16

I have been using this player on my main show for over a year now, I have one of the original red sets, and I have to say that although I don't use all of the features it has it has never missed a beat,Gemini eat your heart out you will never get anywhere near the quality or functionality of this unit!!!!! 2002-12-05

An amazing piece of equipment, has everything a creative dj could possibly dream of, stretching from a very user friendly control unit, 2 individual loop banks, effect buttons ( scratch, flange, reverse etc ).also if you are a lazy dj the unit will read the bpm of the current track playing, witch you can manualy do to, so it makes it easier for you to beat match tracks. I honestly cannot think of one fault about this product. For the quality and amount on this machine it is well worth the money, infact i think the price should be double the amount just for being so impressive. Big thumbs up to numark for this one. Thank you for making djing much more interesting. Denon nor pioneer shall never surpass in my books. 2002-12-03
as same as DENNON 2600 F

I am using this cd dual deck. In fact i am very glad from it, but i sometimes it does not recognise the cds. Also i used denon 2600 f. I may say that to use numark is better and easier than dennon 2600 f. Also you can find every specifications as same as denon 2600 f. You can make perfect loops such as s-loop which means when you make the loop it continues as if the song is still continuing, and provides you to make perfect mixes. But scratching does not seem to be real, i mean it doesn`t sound perfect. 2002-02-04

What a machine! I've just upgraded from my ageing denon's (which i was quite happy with) and have been totally amazed by the quality of the cdn88. I had heard about the features of these decks from friends but dismissed them as "gimmicks". How wrong could i be? The built in loop features really are seemless,crisp and easy to use. The beatmatching is a godsend for lazy dj's and the scratch dial works just like vinyl. I'ts packed with loads of other functional features and is a pleasure to use. A certain other manafacturer produces a similar kind of unit (seperates) at twice the price, and even they aren't as good!
