Brilliant, save up for the DXM09 not DXM06

This mixer is perfect for my home setup. I've had three Numark mixers now including this one, and it is by far the best. If you are thinking of buying the DXM06, don't, but this one instead the build is better, more functions and extra channels and connections you will probably regret not having on the DXM06. Overall Numark mixers are the dogs.

Its a sweet mixer!

I don't have one of these personally, but a friend of mine does and I have used it quite a bit.
Its a really sweet mixer, for the price too. He has had it about 7 months and it hasn't failed on him or me at all.
The EQ is superb, the FX are also quite cool too. It has alot of features that way.
Its just a really sweet mixer and the sound quality is mint.

Great Mixer, Buy it!

Amazing value for money...
Had mine for 2 maby 3 years now and its wicked, works really nice with my numark ttx 1 decks. the 3 eqs a good and split the range up nicely and the digital cross fader is super smooth really nice for mixing with, although stopped woking after a mate poored beer on it...... luckyly its a removeable unit so i cleaned it up stuck it in the airing cupboard and its good as new, just showing how much of a tough bit of kit this is. Also really good easy to understand layout which helps when at house partys and unfamiliar djs are using it, they seem to pick it up nice a quick and all compliment the mixer (most own pionners and vestax's).
FX are a little cheesy and are not as nice sounding as the more expensive units but when used in moderation can defonatly add to a mix.

Shockingly good for the price!

Firstly a big thanks to DJStore for supplying this in under 24 hours, my mate bought something from here and said the delivery was great - I wasn't let down!
I've been Djing for 12 years now and at only 27 I feel really old since my last mixer (Intimidation Apex circa 1998) This DXM09 is simply superb! How can a mixer this capable be sold for such little outlay? It has everything a DJ could wish for at only £200 and Im convinced it could stand against the Pioneer 600 (albeit for lack of channels) in terms of what it does and the quality that is outputted.
Hopefully it will last the course of time.

Wicked!!

This is a great unit, excellent piece of kit for the bedroom DJ and i've done a couple of small gigs on mine and it works a treat! the effects are really useful for covering up a mix gone wrong, particularly the filters and flanger.
had mine about 5 months now and the only problem i've had is that the crossfader will still play on both sources if you have the slope on cut. this however can be fixed really easily by putting it a notch towrads the fade side of things. unfortunately that problem cost the unit a 5star rating!! other than that, no complaints. if you're thinking about getting one, stop thinking and take the plunge, you won't regret it!!

I love this mixer, I've been using numarks mixers with my 1210 set up and this is the best one yet. I just love the simplicity of it, everything is easy to fing and layed out very well. The sound that comes out of the thing is really very clear and is perfect for making demo cd's. If you want a good quality mixer and want to start toying with effects like me this is a great place to start.

Great performance mixer with such a clear layout

I've been using dxm09 in the last 4 months. I fell in love with the effects straight away - especially the clarity of hpf. Great outputs, accurate level meters, outstanding kills, handy cue-blend, fully assignible x-fader. Clear layout, simplicity, no fuss. Two things are a bit disappointing though - the upfaders affect the sound mainly in the top quarter, (so takes practicing to get used to them for a prog dj like me) and the quality of the cue via the headphones isn't the highest on the market. But these are things you simply overlook because of the sheer enjoyment you get buying on of these beauties.

Pukka!!

Wicked mixer! i've been mixing for about 2 weeks and had a go (to be honest quite a few go's!) on my mate's DXM09 and felt right at home straight away, the FX are really easy to use and add a new aspect to my mixing, particularly the Flanger and Phaser functions which sound the nuts and are so simple!! everyone on a tight should own one of these units, they're awesome!

this mixer is superb. wasn't let down when i got it, very easy to get to grips with and although i haven't found out everything to do with it, im already impressed and well on my way. effects aren't as good as i expected but still wiked to use. the pfl is a good feature throughout the mixer and makes mixing much easier and precise.

Probablty the best 3 channel mixer on the market for under £350

I had been waiting for this model to arrive in the uk since January. it was worth the wait!
all controls are quality altough i did have a slight problem with the first unit. the PFL/Master blend control was intermittent but the exchange item has no faults so i guess it was a one off!
effects wet/dry control is a little harsh but you soon get used to a more gentle approach. The beat sync effects are spot on. some will say that the effects dont compare to a kaoss pad etc but that is a dediacted unit. how good the effects sound does depends largely on what music you use. the vocoder works great with accapellas and harder music, but is useless with funky stuff.

Got it the other day. Dead impressed. Great sound quality. Effects a bit quirky and not really that good,although i am a fan of the HP filter on it - does sound very processed though. the slider is off, on or very on - like the way it lights up though the more it's on. Having said that, the rest of it is great!

This mixer is amazing!!! just recieved this 2 weeks ago from america and on opening this from box i thought this is the shit. The cross fader as smooth as!and quality of sound is crystal clear, the effects here can be found on more expensive mixers and can be used in sync to whatever beats you are producing making your set electric!!
