Before we go any further - here's the important point - this both looks and feels AMAZING. Based on its ultra sexy big brother (Numark TTX), the TT200 Direct Drive deck really shows what you should expect from current turntable design. It includes all the features you should expect from a turntable in this price range - removable leads, free replaceable target light, etc, and comes with the standard straight tone arm - and the DJ Store exclusive S-shaped tone arm too. The layout of the main controls mean you can operate this deck in either the standard "mixing" position - or turn it 90 degrees for the "battle" position.
All that aside - here's the killer. This deck has the same quoted torque as Technics 1200/1210 - and from our testing here at dj store they are just as stable as Technics - and probably even more hardwearing. This is where the smart money goes this year.Supplied with free Numark Cart/S-Shaped Tone Arm/Target Light.
Numark DM950 Mixer
- 2 Channel (each switchable for phono/line)
- Replaceable Crossfader
- Mini Cue crossfader for accurate mixing
- 1/4" Microphone Jack
This best selling entry level mixer first appeared in 2002 in the extremely popular DJ in a box and Battlepacks. It's been so popular that Numark have decided to make it
available it on its own.
A simple 2 channel mixer, with 2 band EQ controls and gain on each channel, microphone input and 1/4" stereo headphone jack output, this is going to become a classic starter mixer, and is well worth the money for beginners. The mixer features a replaceable crossfader, and a mini crossfader for panning between channels one and 2 in your headphones, so you can check the mix out before you make the change.
All in all an excellent starters product.
