I'll keep this short so hopefully you read it and know how much i love this turntable. It has all the features you will need whether you are a beginner or a pro plus some more. With this and its price in mind you would have to be as screwed up as Hitler not to get it!

spot on. proper sturdy. feel like picking up a breeze block when pulling these out of the box! look well smart too. some people might prefer 1210s but you like what you like. ive used 1210s and after using tt500s i find them too sensitive. 1210s are more accurate but you will never notice the difference. quality buy...cant go wrong with tt500s.

great decks, great control on them and very well in how they are put together, great for scratch dj's and for the professional bedroom mixer downside to these when compared to the technics are that the technics wont loose face value, go for these if your a first time buyer or the tt200

Turntablists dream!

These turntables are absoloutley spot on! The price is very good for such a strong and sturdy deck, and they do everything they say their review says, worth well over £400 in my opinion. Decks aside id just like to comment on the excellent service that dj store provides, its without a doubt the very best ive came across!

TORQUE FOR MAN AND DOG!!

I bought these turntables off dj store about 1 week ago and i can onestly say that technics are a thing of the past. These turtables are absolutely awesome and the torque will rip your fingers off!! These decks are a pleasure to mix with and hold there timing extremely well. I don't see a problem with wow and flutter and mixing breakdowns with these turntables is very easy and accurate. My mate has the numark ttx and to me the tt500 is better as it has more torque and, with it not having a digital counter, there is less to go wrong! I would seriously recommend these turntables coz they will blow you away!! Thankyou dj store and thankyou numark for making such an awesome turntable!!!

Bought these decks five months ago and still love em! I'm a turntablist and was considering getting 1210's but decided on these as they were a bargain and the torque is brilliant. I would reccomeend these for all dj's of all genres, AWESOME TURNTABLES!!!!!!

its awesome BUT the wow and flutter is a bit too high for non bedroom settings... it can get annoying and confusing when the beats falter in a mix.

Money well spent

bought these decks about a month ago and all I can say is quality. After hearing the technics hype I was seriously considering parting with some serious cash for a pair of 1210's then I heard about these. They feel like a deck of twice the price. The torque is immense and the deck is really responsive. Overall a quality turntable, well worth considering if you thought technics were the only way to go.

The best decks available for this price! Took me a few days to get used to after using 1210s for years but glad i did .Easily as good as technics and cost half as much, they look great and in no way look cheaply!! The amount of contol you have got is mind blowing! 8%/10%/20%or50%variable pitch range, reverse play, change the speed it stops and starts and a 78speed selection for ya dads old gramaphone records!! In my opinion, the best deck on the market! especicialy for the price! and no i dont work for numark.

Off the chain!!

Just upgraded from TT200s. Didnt want to pay £700+ for new set of Technics, so settled for these ones. Glad I didnt fork out more, as these are off the chain!!
Massive torque, interchangeable arms, variable braking speeds, variable start-up speeds, reverse switch, different pitch selector (8, 10, 20, 50 %), quartz lock....what more can you ask for!!
Definately try these first!!

Great decks, but still technics triumph!

Great deck and amazing value for money! For the price these decks walk on all competition and better 1210's in every way... except one. Don't slag of Technics until you've tried the breakdown of cafe del mar on TT200s. The wow and flutter of the Technics is 10 times more accurate than on TT200s. If you're on a budget buy these, but if you want to be sure your breakdowns don’t sound like your turntables are drunk, buy Technics.

Excellent quality deck, good price!

These decks are really top notch! I have DJed in a variety of clubs around the south west and coventry and after using mostly technics there I have to say it is a dream to come home to these. The digital stuff can be handy, but the TTX's are really only worth it for beginners who need the extra display, or clubs who have the equipment to take advantage of the digital outputs. Definitely recommend to any pro DJ!

An Awesome, serious alternative to Technics

Awesome decks, that look and feel like they should cost twice what they do. The 4.5kg of torque is almost overwhelming at first but once you get used to it, its possible to make minute chages using the pitch adjust alone. Any changes are transfered to the record instantaneously. All round a quality decks that are a serious alternative technics, which I have had the pleasure of using extensively.

I,ve had Technics SL1200's for over fithteen years and they are an exellent deck, but I,ve just brought a pair of numark TT500s and they have completely blown me away, there increadibly we'll made, very smooth and stable in the mix, and the startup is very quick TOTALLY RECOMMENDED. I think people who buy technics to use at home are only buying into the Label/brand for status's sake.

Everything bout these decks are excellent! With good looks and great performance these decks are wot dj's dream of! Technics are without a doubt great decks and the technics name is huge but i think its time we have to wake up and make way for numark!! Why pay more and get less when you could buy the tt500's and get blown away by the amount of torque its got (you have to see/feel it to believe it) and the features like reverse and adjustable start/brake speeds! I recommend this product to anyone who is serious about djing. Top quality!!

ok the TT500 is good but the only problem i find is that it looks cheap made in fact i love the torque on it but the TTX is better !!! TTX is the best turntable to mix trance, house, techno and drum and bass

best decks here, no need to upgrade, glad i got these. if ur the type of guy who likes to get ripped off, however, then get techics with ur shitty 1.5 torque. either these or the stanton 100 or 150s. techically these decks are better than the ttx-1s in my opinion because the torque is 1.3 higher, and it doesnt have a waste of space counter in which u shouldnt need unless ur a beginner. u kno the rest of the features...dont be a fool get these

Infact what everyone of you has said about these turntables being the same as the ttx1, minus the digital features are wrong, my friend has tt500s and its fact that they are closer to a tt200 than a ttx.
it is pretty much a tt200 with the ttx motor and powder coated trim piece, there is no way near as much feedback resistance compared to the ttx. As for the ttx it has the same motor now, if you look on the old batch ttx they didnt have vents the new ones do. And thats a fact dont be mistaken the tt500 is good but not as good as the ttx.

OMG, this beast is the s**t! So i wanna buy some new dex rite, I walk in2 a music store and I say point me 2 da technics section. The guy says, how would you feel bout taking a look at some numark dex? and I thought hmmmmm. I dunno hey, but he turned the tt-500 on any way and said feel that. I touched the platter while it was going and i almost had a heart attack. The tourque is like nufin I ever seen before, I could have sat on the damn things and they'd still spin. After you've got over the fact that this thing has sumfin insane like 5kg/cm of torque you can marvel at the +-50% pitch control, instant reverse and alternating start and break speeds. It's a turntabilists dream with a skip proof straight tone arm (which is interchangeable with an s-shaped one) and power to make sure you never lose torque. Awsome futuristic rugged construction is also a key feature. This is definatly my dream turntable, and as 4 the ttx-1? who gives a s**t about all that digital rubbish, it's unessessary.

I would say this deck is better than the TTX1 who needs a blue light that only tells you the pitch speed and a few other things not worth the extra 100 pounds. The Best non digi turntable around!!

I bought this table in sort of faith not having actually tried out the specific one itself. I had tried the ttx1 however and it was on that, that i bought a pair coz they are advertised as the non digi ttx1. So what does it perform like, in a word amazing there is torque a plenty so that they most demanding scratch dj will be happy there is a s-shaped tonearm so all you clud spinners of house and trance will be sorted. They got a plus/minus 8,10,25 and 50 pitch controls which really helps when mixing different genres and also they got adjustable start/stop and reverse switch!! All in all this turntable has the business in features and it is not all torque as some people has hinted because it performs admirably as well. Lastly build quality? Imo outstanding this is one heavy beast and isn't going anywhere fast, the top is made from steel and the platter is made from aluminum which means that the build quality is excellent and should sustain a few knocks, also the rubberised feet really do help to absorb the shocks and keep the deck stable.
all in all an excellent turntable.
