Overall... A Monster of a Turntable
By: Mark Miller

I managed to purchase one of these at a bargain price, best purchase i have ever made. can't believe how powerful and accurate these are... okay the bpm counter can be dodgy but who uses them anyway... have tried to make this skip but it just doesn't want to ... this turntable is a tank , wasn't expecting it to be this heavy but the heavier the better, overall... a great machine and a pleasure to mix with 2008-04-13
Torquey heavydeck
By: Concentric

My TTX's are now a good couple of years old and covered in rave-grime. Still going though... Had a few reliability issues with the electronic brain (and sometimes personality) that these decks posess, but it's reassuring to know that the internals are pretty modular and you can easily replace parts at reasonable cost, and never really have to fear a completely written off deck. ie the tonearm pivot broke on one last week, the whole tonearm section is identical to the TT200's, so i salvaged one and found that all it took was four screws and two plug-in connectors to replace it. Lovely creamy decks to mix on, mine have been used by a fair number of jockeys over the years and they've all loved them. apart from when one randomly started spinning backwards and the 33 button stopped working... but like i said, easy to replace parts! We've also got a set of STR8-150s and you can go between no problem, i prefer the pitch ranges and s-tonearms on the TTX's. To be honest, the numark is more than capable of mixing with the big boys, and it won't break the bank, so u'll have a bit more overdraft for the old record shop! I wouldn't worry too much about the reliabilty, mine go in the back of a van every so often to messy locations where they're used by like 10 dudes for 18 hours straight. If you're bedrooming it you won't break them. And if you do and happen to own half a brain and a screwdriver, you'll fix it! I've only given them 4 out of 5 cos i don't want to come across as some sort of fan-nerd. The fact is i'm sitting here writing a review when i could be mixing. nuff said. impressive. 2008-01-04
BETTER THAN 1210S BUT 1210S ARE NEEDED HAHAHA
By: Deejay Nath-G

YEAH THEY ARE TOP DECKS, IN MY OPPINION THE BEST DECKS OUT, BUT NONE OF MY MATES HAVE EM SO NO USE TO ME, I SOLD MINE AND GOT 1210S CAUSE ITS HARD TO GET USED TO 1210S WHEN YOUR USED TO SUCH HIGH TORQUE NUMARK SPACESHIPS, ID RATHER BE GOOD ON 1210S AND TTX THAN JUST TTX 2006-09-25
AMAZING!!!!
By: Rowan aka mcmonkey

great decks, amazing tourqe. just upgraded from some tt1625s the difference is amazing, highly recomend these to anyone(there much better than technics). my only reservations are the beat counter isn't the best in the world but other than that they are great! a must have. 2006-08-18
numark is cool for home, but a serious dj needs a serious deck what technics is.
By: djcorty

i ve been djing now for more than 6 years and I have to say these decks are great. I tried them the other day at my friends gig and are really great. but not better than tech´s. maybe we can compare them but that´s all. the features they have got are just unnecessary. maybe they last for 2-3 years and then they beak down. but the techs yes the last 6 years at least or more and you still can sell them for nearly the same price as you bought them. very simple less features more quality = technics......more features less quality = numark.
i had numark turntables 1,5 year ago and luckily sold them. that was a very happy day in my life. since that time i got the new mk5´s and without a little problem i am spinning records twice a week at my gigs and would never swap them for any other. 2006-06-12
All good things come to an end, and Technics has ended.
By: Daniel Dytrych

It hurts me to say this, but Technics just cannot compete on this side of the market. I sold my MK5g limited editions for £600 and invested in these and it was the best thing I have ever done. At first, I was having doubts about my choice but when I took them out of their box, I knew it was the right choice. The sleek smooth platter is a joy to feel when beat matching, and the torque is in a world of it's own. It just shows this by how heavy handed you have to be to force the platter forward with your fingure. Makes Technice feel like cheap gemini. Pitch control is soo smooth and the motor responds soo good to adjustments. The reverse button is a godsend for being creative with. Also, you have a very handy tool where you can adjust the speed of the platter when you press the stop button. On Technics, you have to shut the whole deck of to get the desired effect. Technics are overpriced and a basic deck these days.

Remember, we have Technics to thank for the good old days and for evolving the turntable to what it is today. 2006-04-24
Make way for Numark
By: funkieQ

After trying many different decks, these have to be the best! Technics are resounding, it has to be said, but they've built that resonance on a brand name and now it's time for something with a little integrity!

These are that much better than Technics we even had them installed in our club and the bar next door.

Top performance, packed with infinitely more features than Technics and sturdy as hell, these are the best thing out there at the moment!! They aren't called Numark for nothing.. 2006-01-11
Stylish, Brill, look no further the price is right
By: DJ PHONICS

You what!!!
These machines are ultimate! Techniks you've had your day, time for these babies to waggle their jubblies about for a bit. Have been using Technics for some time after I progressed from my very amateurish Gemini's, But sold them for some Vestax. After various talks with dealers and mag reviews decided to bite the bullet and buy some... 1st thought You wot!!! these are amazing so much stability, torque and kick ass features. What I say is BUY A PAIR. Jeff and Matty, read the bloody instructions before making silly convictions. If you want a pair, buy a pair, then.. you'll have a pair (to impress all with) review readers get em bought 2005-12-20
defo a good buy !
By: Dj 2GooD

defo the best decks ive ever played ! so much better than 1210s , easy to get used too and the features are amazing ! 2005-11-08
Amazin Decks
By: DJ DeeLite

Alot of djs shell out hundreds on a pair of 1210 because of the name. Let me asure that the ttx's are just as good as 1210 if not better. The torque on these bad boys is amazin. They also come wen a bag load of features. 2005-09-30
MOVE OVER TECHNICS 1210's
By: DJ Scratch n' Sniff

making an upgarde from belt drives, crap ones at that. Got a set of these, and OMG they are amazing so many features and so much torque, well worth the money, these are the ultimate beasts with a set of M447's on them, no need to spend a stupid amount on 1210's, these have helped me progress an unbeleivable amount. They are pretty much Vestax PDX2000 mk2's but digital. perfect for hooking up to pc aswell. These deserve a MASSIVE BIG UP and a BIG UP to NUMARK for making them 2005-09-27
get your hands off my ttx's, there mine..lol
By: Camo (Donkybars)

Ok here we go on this turntable sent down from the creator of all things brill and fabulous and he must be a dj, this deck is the muttz nuttz when you look at it from a far , then you drool till you finally get to play on it, outstanding pitch accuracy , i got mine from ebay at a very reasonable price after the abduction of the 1210's RIP, i used to mix all my bootlegs through the laptop , no need now you can transform mr lonely into a super dj trance anthem with the touch of a key lock and by backing it up with a simple anthem, trust me apprentice dj's, we all know that 1210's are the club industry standard and that you want to be a mini pete tong or pez tellet, but trust me buy this deck and you will improve your performance within two days, it trains you differently to the 1210's , i had beats popping all over the place for 3 min+ without touching the platter, forget the girl forget the pub, invest in your life , you miss out on these you will be kicking yourself when your arch enemy gets one over on you and gets to the big venue you have always dreamed of playing before you 2005-04-29
MINT!!!!!!
By: ROB COOPER

I WAS ALWAYS A TECHNICS MAN UNTIL MY HOUSE GOT BURGLED AND DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING NEW AND WHAT DO YA KNOW THESE TURNTABLES ARE EXCELLENT.HIGHLY RECOMENDED! 2005-04-14
excellent...almost flawless
By: alex

this is an amazing turntable and the best ive tried before i bought this i tried stanton str8150s technics and vestax pdx2000s. the torque makes technics seem like a pair of old sound labs!! the pitch ranges are brilliant when cross genre mixing (hip hop, funk, electro) especially when combined with the key lock function allowing you to speed up tunes considerably without it turning 'chipmunk'. the pitch as well is the most responsive ive used on par or better than technics...

my only minor complaint which no one else has picked up on is that the bpm counters are mostly inaccurate when mixing at slower tempos for genres like down tempo and hip hop... i have been mixing tunes i know to be around 95 bpm and it consistenly telling me it was 144. this should only be a minor complaint to any real self respecting dj as knowing ure tunes is more important.

all round the best turntable i have ever used 2005-04-07
great deck a must buy and cheaper than some of the top decks
By: natty b

iv been using techs for a while now untill i tryed my mates ttx1s i was amazed at the torque and the amount of features. the pitch control is brilliant i felt i had complete control of the record their very tight. i went back to my techs and they felt dated and very loose. the slighest touch and they sped up to much or slowed to much and the pitch felt sticky. sorry tech fans but these decks are the way forward. i now have a set of ttx1s and have never looked back they should be the industry standard. 2005-03-07
very very pleased with these decks.
By: kuume

i'm very very happy with this deck.. sprung actually. i've only had them for about a month so i don't want to give an indepth review. i just wanted to tell the reviewer Jeff that you you can set your pitch at +/-8%. you simply hold down the pitch button for about three seconds and the LED will say 8, meaning that the deck is now set and +/-8%. and also Matty: if you set your pitch fader at a point that suits you better, your pitch correction may not feel so loose. make sure it's not set at 50%. remember, the pitch fader will correct much more drastically if the fader is set at 20 or 50% than it will if it's set at 8 or 10%. (change the pitch correction by tapping the 'pitch' button. if you tap it it cycles through 10, 20 or 50%. if you hold it it goes to 8%.)
i'll come back with a more indepth review of these decks when i've had em for a few more months. 2005-03-03
Gr8
By: Matty

These turntables are fanatstic and crammed with loadz of features. Cant really say which i think is the best but I really like the controlled start/stop. Also the torwue kicks ass. Bad point- the pitch control is 2 slack correction of tracks is difficult you meen 2 move it a short distance and wot do u no uve added 5% to the track. But apart from that gr8. (only used 1nce at a rave usually use kam ddx 3000's). 2005-02-15
niceness
By: jeff

superb

but if you want to save a bit and don't care about the display/pitch lock go for the tt500s they're pretty much the same thing

only thing that could be better would be the option of +/- 8 but minor complaint 2005-01-14
5 out of 5 but...
By: KidKut

All have said these are remarkably strong lotsa features stable well laid-out etc. But I agree with most who cite 1200/1210s being in 99% of clubs as a strong reason to buy technics. I found the HUGE torque can hinder silky mixing, like a dodge viper in a traffic jam– overkill. Scratch/producers/bedroom look no further but those playing out may want to lean towards technics so as not to feel restricted live. Also technics look so much better numark/vestax= straight out of a nu-metal vid.
As an across-the-board dj/producer these are field leaders for usability tho. Love the 10-50% w/ pitch lock- indispensable for olskool mashups and hiphop use. I have noticed on Line output considerable digital quantizing is heard at vastly increased or decreased speeds with pitch lock on, making the extremes of this feature for home use only in terms of professionalism. Bear in mind for professional use and expressive scratching/sample use. Haven't tried Phono setting yet tho.
Conclusion? Don't like the look and take some getting used to but easily the best deck on the market and the leader for price/features. Just don’t look forward to jumping back on yr belt drive American DJs afterward aiight? 2005-01-12
The end of 1210's domination?
By: Sam Webb

Bin Djin for 10 yrs - had 5 pairs of different turntables durin this time - these things win hands down! Torque kicks the 1200/1210's ass - LED display is sxy, features are useful - especially for turntablists like myself. Maybe buy some new slipmats, ones supplied grip the platter a little too much. Comes with nice ortofon carts - better than AL500's. V.Heavy and robust deck and really neat pitch facilities as well. Technics dont have the market - they make it appear they have - versus each other in tests theres no comparison, and for less money you'de be a fool to follow the fashion :)
Buy them - maybe TT500 if you want pure torque, but TTX1 if you want a feature/torque balance.
Nuff said. 2004-11-16
No better, no worse. Just try it
By: kouk pan

I own this product since June. I didn't wrote a review before because I wanted to see what this thing can do and to see if it it can hold. And I can tell you that it almost does everything and still not a glich. 1)I have never touched the platter to make a correction about the pitch.it's very stable 2)it has a great torque(great news!) 3)and it's sexy. I am not saying about the other functions because I didn't really used them, allthough I though I would. What can I say? I'm very pleased. Don't just buy it because it's better than the techniks, buy it because you will work much better than that. 2004-10-11
Very very impressed!
By: DJ Feedback

The TTX-1 offers outstanding quality and performance! These decks make my 1210's look and feel like retro antiques that haven't been re-designed or developed since 1979. The original 1200 design was well ahead of it's time when first released some 25 years ago. Quite frankly the fact that Technics have managed to add little more than a useless hole for a spare headshell (an idea borrowed from Soundlab!) speaks volumes about their arrogance and monopoly position in the market. However time has moved on and the Technics design hasn't. My much loved 1210's are now on a popular auction site and I would recommend other people to do the same. 2004-08-24
class decks!
By: richie

I was wary at first as i thought technics were the way to go. like many others i was wrong. these beauties are outstanding. pitch control to 0.01% at 50% gain is precise and yet so simple (my 7 & 9 year olds can nearly beat mix). once you've sorted the pitch all thats left to do is play with the mixer effects or bring in the next channel. complete visual representation of the pitch status backing up what you hear through the monitor makes mixing less of a specialised art and simplifies the the process like nothing i've ever seen before. dunno if the local clubs will make the move but the record shop i use has them available for set use in shop. thats what swung it for me.there is no stigma or secret to mixing , jus some good tunes and some damn fine decks.if your havering ,dont.just buy the ttx1's. you wont regret it. well done numark.mission accomplished. the best decks on the market. 2004-07-20
Pay less for the same quality! ALWAYS a bonus!
By: Mark - GB

Having used technics for a while now i was dubious about the ttx1's...not any more...had a go on a mates and decided to shell out over my 1210's...in my opinion they are on a par with the technics rather than ahead, but being cheaper they are gonna be a more than worthy contender for the technics!!! 2004-06-02
do your self's a favour buy
By: mr d

what can i say this could just be the one 'more features than the rest way in front had mine 2years now nearly only thing had to replace is a stylus fantastic far better than techniks and vestax i think clubs should have them instaled i dont now why they are going cheaper good to see it in a way because people will think at that price i want a pair or two and i say buy buy buy i think u get a lot more and the rest for money should be same price techniks maybe more techniks should be at this price and this baby at there's had 1210s would not bother anymore with them played on vestax good for scratching feel cheap and dirty then again so r ttx1's good for it just read and sink in to what i am saying its about the build and feel not the name trust me and the rest of the reviews come and be part of the future or live in the past from someone to help u make the right choice . ps it is a tank a beast and its just out there on its own 2004-05-17
Bitter sweet!
By: Tommy B

The reviews are all spot on, these turntables are an absolute pleasure 2 use, nine times out of ten when u have got ur records beatmatched u can just forget about having to touch the platter, the motor is so stable and constant. The only problem i have is that most venues predominantly employ technics, so if u enter a dj comp or even get a gig in bar/club ur more than likly to be faced with a set of techies which i dont care what u say, will cause u problems after using these.they are a totally different animal. I'm now reluctantly considering to sell my ttx1s to get some technics. I hate to admit it but if ur gonna play records out i think u should be using a standard turntable at home as well as in the venue!
p.s. Does anyone know any credible venues that use ttx1s? 2004-04-16
great decks!!
By: Petter

These are exellent decks! I was planning to buy technics 1210, but after a week of hard study where I read all reviews that were available on the net I decided for ttx1! and I don't regret at all..at least for now! to be honest.. i cant really say that these are better than technics which sem to be the ever lasting question, cause i like them both! but it is just a matter of taste at the end! anyway I don't think you can go wrong with these ttx1: solid structure and good built quality! 2004-04-12
buy em
By: William again

this decks is sooooo good. looks fantastic in the dark. a pleasure to mix with!!!. do yourself a favour, buy this decks now, throw your technics in the bin, buy em from 'dj store' too, cheapest price you'll find anywhere (new)!!! 2004-03-09
BUY THEM NOW!!!!
By: William

what can i say, just read all the above ratings to know what these decks have. It looks like 'Numark' are on Top. 2004-02-20
Better than I expected!
By: Rick

I've allways thought of technics as the big boys in the turntable industy and wasnt really prepared to give these a chance. Tried them out yesterday at a mates place and was very impressed. They're extremely stable and powerful decks. The straight arm just wont jump no matter what you do to it, the replacable faders make you confident these babies are gonna last you a loooong time and they seem to have really worked hard to eliminate interference and those sounds you usually can hear through the speakers if you tap the deck etc. The only thing i didnt really like about it was the start/stop speed adjust. Getting a nice short stopping sound is hard because the range is so big. It seemed to want to either just stop suddenly or wind down for about thirty seconds. Im sure its something you just need to learn to do effectively though. I still think its a far more advanced, useful and sturdy turntable than any ive used before. 2004-02-16
this deck gets an A*
By: emil

well its a constant rivalry between ttx1, pdx, and technics, also str8150, and i cannot be too judgemental but i think these turntables are good. im not saying the best, but at least in the top three. the torque is amazing, and they hardly skip at all when scratching. i can honestly say there is nothing wrong about this deck at all. its 99.999% perfect 2004-02-09
goodbye 1200/1210
By: dbr

Well in this industry having the audacity to buy anything other than technics often ends up with one recieving a verbal " or physical" bashing from the die hards. I tried these decks out a few months back, whilst i was still using my 1210's. After 3-4 hourse i was pretty much convinced, so i sold my technics !!! yes sold!! and bought some ttx1's. Bloody glad i did too, everythign about them is nice, torque is excellent, key lock is intersting not really useful though, weight is brill, looks cool, and has detachable cables!!!! at last a deck that lives in this millenium, oh and spdif out!!, all in all 5 out of 5. try by all means but dont b so mindless to ignore the ttx1 because it isnt a technics ! ;) 2004-01-16
TTX-1s r simply better than 1210s
By: Jim

These decks are simply the best i was hesitating on buying them because every one was saying 1210s but im glad i have the ttx-1s they kick 1210s out of the club! Every 1 askes y i bought them n not the "clasic" 1210 decks simply 1210s have nothing apart from high torque! This deck has more features than most mixers do!!!! If your are thinking of getting 1210s re consider!!!!!!! 2003-12-22
Superb!
By: DJ RON

Well what can I say?! I Had a few sleepless nights deciding over these and the Technics when I needed new decks and how glad am I that I choose the TTXI's!! A total quality build and response wise they are unbeatable! I use Technics when I DJ out and they are a great deck but there is always some little problem with them..ie sticky pitch control, loss of torque etc etc I wish Club owners would stop being so narrow minded and switch over to what is without doubt the best deck on the market! Only one dig though, the light is not tall or bright enough to show up the records properly, such a simple part for them to get right but they must have put all there efforts into making it an untouchable deck! Club owners, buy them now!!! 2003-12-22
da bomb da lick!!!!
By: Paz

I could blab on about how good these babies are, but i'd rather just say that in a word..... Awesome! 2003-12-10
10/10 with a smile.
By: dj hardwax

one word about these decks if you are looking for the best look no further i never look back with these babys not for a long time this goes to the people who think techniks and the others rule do your selfs a favour get with the new badboys.when they first came out it showed it had the most powerful motor so others out there could not handle it so they brought out more powerful decks all that means nothing to me watch out folks nurmark have done it. 2003-11-06
10 out of 10 - 100 out of 100!

Two words.....get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!, get em!... And then find out what your really capable of!!,tecknic's died when this deck was created..period. 2003-10-27
i like it alot.
By: dj dust

this is one good deck, the torque on these babies is outstanding the digital pitch and bpm counter is good stuff. interchanging tone arms are usefull. if uve got the money , my advice is to buy em. 2003-10-21
No Deck is better for Blending, Nice and Flash.
By: Dj Flash Ash

When i 1st got on these decks, the whole room was lit up by a bright blue light. The blue from the lcd screen is 1st of noticable and amazing. And then after being stunned by that, you put on a vinyl and you press the start button. Then the rest speaks for itself, these are the decks you want in your christmas stocking, ive had encountments with all other decks, and these are by far, best to look at, and use. The only 1 downfall i fount, is the stop start button could do with being, ermm - needing more pressure. But other than that, it deserves the 5 outta 5 with a cherry on top, a great buy. 2003-07-08
Accept no substitues
By: Lazyboy

This should say something about this deck: i bought it used. It came with merely the decks, the cords, and the box.without consulting the manual i was able to use every feature the deck had to offer.hows that for ease of use? all my friends that have other decks are amazed at the startup time. And the lights (this deck looks toasty in the dark) and its replacable parts. this deck rules them all! 2003-06-25
TTX1's Are The Best
By: DJ TJB

Wikid decks, so easy to use much much easier than technics to use! Tried movin the controls today its not as easy as it sez but i can be done and it works!if ur thinkin of buyin some new top of the range decks go 4 these not 1210 they need updatin 8% pitch? The ttx1's start wiv that and go up!the massiv pitch range is especially good if ur into mixin different types of music 2gether.anyways have fun if u buy these 2003-06-25
WICKED TURNTABLIST TOOLS!!!
By: george(A.K.A. WORMOLOGIST

I went from havin technics for 6 years to the ttx1's after havin a spin in store. Well impressed, the straight arm,4 different pitches, reverse play and digital read out all sweet!! Only bad point is brakin speed can only be set at one speed so u have to keep changin to get stop effect or power off effect. Much better than technics for scratchin though!!! 2003-06-23
A stunning deck!
By: Brunzo

This deck is the best deck on the market without question. My m8 who has 1210 mk3's said my ttx1's are a million times better. The torque is higher so mixing is easier. Everything is just better. The only flaw i think is that the pitch control is quite stiff whereas on technics it is smooth. Its a minor detail really. Anybody who thinks technics are better is totally wrong. Numark have definitely beaten technics with this deck 2003-06-06
SIMPLY... THE BOMB!!!
By: The Unseen Force

Just upgraded from some gemini's and; oh!!! These turntable are awesome in every respect, and they will not skip!!!$@*& technics!!! 2003-04-28

The Best Deck..No Question
By: DREX

Out of the box they are hands down the best turntable out. Its not even comparible. Hope they last like the 1200's (there certainly as heavy) but no matter i'd bye a pair every year if need be. There that good. 2003-04-02
yeah baby!
By: Sos

When i got these, i was a bit scared cause of all them people saying technics is the one and only but boy r they wrong. Plus, i just saw a pair going for a grand. (madness) i still kiss them goodnight. 2003-03-28
So good, i bought 4
By: DJ Stalka

Here they are, the number one deck. I've used all the top turntables and these are IT. I just flogged my 4 1200's to get 2 pair of these. They can do anything as well as everything else out there and they are the best for everything except hip-hop, where the vestax rule. Technics need to take a lesson in turntables from Numark and get their act together. My advice: If you are a sad poseur, get 1210 mk3's. If all you ever do is hip-hop, get vestax, if you do anything else, at all, ever, get these. Avoid Gemini like the plague. 2003-03-26

Just an opinion?
By: whauffe

YES! There has been an evolution in the world of music (and i am not referring to the 'extra head shell holder' on the mk3). Where dj-ing used to be no more than adjusting the tempo one record to match the other, now you can also match the key. This gives you unprecedented musical freedom and performing creativity. Besides, gone is the false key wobbling while fine-tuning with both faders open and while resetting the pitch for the next record. There are some other decks that can do this, like the gemini 6000, but none of them deserve the right to become the new industry standard. The ttx1 is sturdy, built to last both in concept and in components, has a clear control layout and immense starting/stopping power (more than twice the torque of the sl!). The hands-on feel of it is great: they do exactly what you want to do -- true sure shooters. Now let's hope that all clubs step over to the ttx1 with their next investment (except for some old school hip hop / electro clubs where the sl will nicely match retro shoes). I am very interested to know what technics' next step will be... I am sure their designers go through a case of pencils per day! 2003-03-12
simply the best money can buy

Absolute quality. I went all out on my first set of decks and went for these beasts and i aint disappointed in the slightest. Friends of mine kept telling me technics are industry standard and technics are the best, well i really do believe technics time is over, ttx1's rule the world of decks. Everything about these decks are amazing and note: the build quality is extremely solid, these are going to last. in my opionion compared to any other deck on the market these outshine the lot. I have tried a number of different decks whilst deciding which to get and i'd say vestax and 1210's fall behind these. So if ure thinking of buying the ttx1's, you have the cash and your serious about dj'ing get these, no questions asked.dj store delivered the next day, great service. 2003-02-17

After owning 1200's for years i had, like everyone else, understood their reason for being the dj standard for years--that changed after receiving the ttx's. Technics haven't changed their style or technology for the past 20 years and it has finally caught up with them. After using the ttx's i will never go back because of their vastly superior torque, ungodly pitch control, and just all around better features that are essential to a variety of dj styles. If you're smart, you'll do what i did and give your 1200's to your parents so they can listen to their old records. 2003-01-10
the best deck ever
By: dj stevie r

the best deck to hit the market ever ive used technics for years i decided to buy a new set of ttx1 and i will never look back. 2002-12-28
OMG THESE ARE THE BEST ON THE MARKET
By: DJ Daniel Emerson

Technics are getting left behind on there decks. If you are considering to get technics, dont. Technics MK3's are a money making scam by adding the odd little features that no one ever uses anyway. As soon as more dj's wake up and use these brillaint ttx turntables they will be used in every club in the world and the technics will be thrown out onto the street for scrap. 2002-12-08
Marvelous

Just received my 2x ttx1's, and i still have my sl1210's (mk 3 of course :)). Four decks in one room! Well, i still like technics, as, just by looking at them, brings out lot of history and tradition. But ttx1's are just so perfect, that sl's will be making an appearance on ebay. I am sorry to say this, but i found tt's to be so versatile, powerful and easy to use, that it is true, they really make you a better dj. Not to mention the looks. But technics are still bloody good as well :)(just in case saint peter is watching). 2002-11-03

Numark have proven to the music community that they are the don's when it comes to dj equipment, full stop. The ttx1 is in my opinon the greatest deck ever created, and find it hard to see how it will ever be bettered. if you want classic... Go for 1210's. If you want the greatest go for the ttx. 2002-10-03
save some cash and get some TTX
By: emerson dj

I am just new to the dj industry, however; after spending a year on junk i decided to buy a pair of ttx... Have to say, a very good investment... Techs powerful, numark's ttx; gorgeous and powerful... =) 2002-08-11
buy them.
By: Dan

well, as a former owner of a pair of technics, i must say that these tables make them look like they are belt driven. i say this not only with regard to the torque, but also to the overall purpose of a turntable, which is to make music. these ttx's have +-50% pitch, and once you play around with it, you CANNOT go back to +-8%. bottom line: they are very well built tables that outperform anything on the market today, and will satisfy your all turntablistic desires. no joke. 2002-07-08
