Excellent mixer, love it to bits.

Absolutely love this mixer. For me this has a dual purpose as it gets used for music production. The looping facility enables me to quickly lopp the section I want and run it into my sampler, also having the effects in one place means I can quickly try out ideas. On the mixing front I have found that the sky is the limit in terms what you can achieve. I have had this for a little while now and still discovering new things 2006-12-09

This really is a quality bit of kit, built to last and sound to die for. So why not 5 out of 5? One slight problem with it is that i've found the 'harmonic' mixing feature to distort the sound when raising the key. Lowering it doesn't affect it and as most people usually increase the pitch when mixing this makes it a very minor (but nevertheless notable) grip. Other than that i'd wholely recommend it. Works a treat with Ableton (as a midi controller). 2006-11-13

Had my Djm800 now for a few weeks and i still cant believe how good it is! it excels in all areas... apart from price but its worth every penny!!! 2006-04-12

I will sum this mixer up in 1, it's fantastic. It's user friendly to the max. When using with cdj 1000 they were ment for each other like love at first sight . The build quality is the best i have seen yet from pioneer, there products are just getting better, but if you can improve this mixer would would have to be sent into space as it's faultless. Pioneer are not the cheapest but when it comes to quality they are at the top of the food chain. This mixer has a lot of features but some how they manage to make it simple, you will be swinging on the effects in no time. If you are thinking of spending that amount on a mixer its well worth saving for.
