Living up to the name, for Shure!
By: Director Dash
I initially bought radio mics for the sake of ease when performing at discos and special events, so I bought the cheap and cheerful Kam KWM10 dual mic system... which I later found wasn't so cheerful. I decided to bite the bullet and go for something that wouldn't fail, and hence bought the Shure PG24/PG58 system.
£180 seems ridiculous for a single radio mic system, however there's nothing cheap about this system. Shure are the worldwide specialists when it comes to microphones, and they certainly live up to their name with this one. The build and sound quality is nothing short of outstanding, and one thing I find particularly useful is that the microphone head module is replaceable, meaning no need to fork out another £180 for a whole new system. Not that I think a system from Shure will need replaced any time soon!

At DJ Store we strongly promote the idea that best people to review DJ equipment
are the people that use it on a daily basis.
We want to hear your comments and we want you to share them with our customers -
but we also have a few rules:
- The Best reviews are short (no more than 500 words).
- Stay on topic - stay relevant to the product.
- Write in proper english and keep it clean or it won't be published.
- Feel free to suggest a similar product that you feel is better.
- No links, phone numbers, website addresses etc will be published.
- Most important of all - think about it!
Before you write simply "this mixer is junk" and submit it -
think about who else would be using it?
You can't compare a £50.00 mixer with a £500.00 one -
so consider the price when writing.
We want you to tell us the good and bad points about our DJ equipment -
but remember the best reviews don't just say whether you liked
or disliked a product, but also why!
