The Traktor Kontrol S4 Controller is the first piece of hardware we have seen from Native Instruments designed from the ground up by the team behind Traktor software. The S4 is also the first time we have seen a professional four deck solution designed entirely with Traktor in mind. With a high quality audio interface onboard, the S4 is a truly all in one solution for digital DJs.

Featuring a raft of features never before seen, the S4 is the cutting edge of what a DJ should expect in terms of functionality. A Loop Recorder lets you record your own loops and integrate them into your set wherever you want. The new Sample Decks feature on the software included with the S4 gives you the freedom to be more creative with your music.

The new electromagnetic jog wheels allow silky smooth control of your tracks while the 2 FX units and 28 effects help you formulate your own sound. Mixing together a top quality 4-channel DJ mixer, a built-in audio interface, a full digital controller and Traktor Pro S4 software, the Traktor Kontrol S4 is the perfect complete solution for DJs who want a professional suite of features, intuitive layout and portability.

The S4 also features two inputs for CD players or turntables. One channel (D) also has a USB/Thru switch. When set to USB, the channel input is routed through the S4′s internal mixer. When set to Thru, the channel D audio input goes straight to the Kontrol S4 master output allowing a backup for software or computer crashes: if you have an analog cd player, turntable or iPod connected.
