I got these the other day and there great i can beat match on them pretty well. they do feel abit toy compard with more expensive decks but they do the job and thats what counts. If u carnt beat match on them your doing something wrong. the mixer is abit simple e.g. there no mid controls on it other than that its a great buy

Overall ok for the beginner

Well, where could i start.
The turntable itself feels as though it was made out of a plastic lunch box, no target light, absolute crap for beatmatching.
My advice, go 1 step up and get the TT-1650 direct drive

Excellent for beginners........

These decks are really good for the money, Numark have really got it spot on with the appearance and performance, but if you think mixin is guna be a big hobby and even a job for you, then spend a bit extra and get direct drives that come with a better mixer. Dont get me wrong, these are gud decks and are the best belt drives around, but once you get your skills you will no doubt want something better. I loved these decks wen i got em but if i cud go bak in time id get direct drives.

one word fantastic

the set for the money is fan tastic
mixr the mixer is fantastic for a beginner it has everything you will need to get you started mixin, the cross faider is excellent for mixin.
tt1610 the deks for a belt drive have great torque they are excellent for a begginer and they do the job with top marks they lok fantastic and the start stop times are aslo very good the carts surplied with these deks are ok nothing special but they do the job qutie weel. the slip mats work fantasticly on the metal platter.
the head phones are great they do the job.
OVAall this is a fantastic set for any begginer BUY IT !!!!

Good starter package!

Great for a beginners package, OK so they're still belt drive so the start/stop/response times will be different but hey, don't let it put you off. They do the job really well and for the price the mixer is great! A bargain! If you're just starting out then BUY IT!!!
