The Digital Jockey 2 Reloop gives digital DJs a controller which works with the world's leading DJ software such as Traktor to give you hands on control of all the features available.
The Digital Jockey 2 Reloop is housed in a tough and stylish brushed aluminium case ensuring it stays safe from gig to gig. The control panel is clearly arranged and mapped to all important Traktor functions. The unit also comes packaged with Traktor LE so everything you need to get started is in the box.
DJs who have been working with CD players will feel at instantly at ease with the Reloop. The high-quality pitch faders and crossfader are allow delicate control while being well-built and strong.
The Digital Jockey 2's features MIDI mapping capabilities to take advantage of. Shift buttons allow each button to be doubly assigned. Because of this, you can control up to 4 virtual decks simultaneously with the Digital Jockey 2 and Traktor.
Additionally the Digital Jockey 2 Interface Edition comes with an outstanding 4-channel 16 bit/48 kHz sound card that offers external inputs and outputs. With the Digital Jockey's Interface Edition 2 it is possible cue up using headphones while sending the output to a PA system.
The touch-sensitive jog wheels are an Interface Edition exclusive with a vinyl-like feeling when cueing, scratching, browsing and effect modulating. The adjustable knobs on the front for the crossfader curve and microphone and headphones controls are further additional features of the Interface Edition.

I've been after a decent setup for a LONG time due to various different reason. Looked at so many and so glad I finally got my hand on one. I've been using Traktor 3 extensively for the past 2 years and often use the 4 decks, so I wanted a controller that was capable of diong that. I also wanted something that wasn't going to be too shabby to use in a club/bar/house-party. Not to say I done any extensive searching or anything but there aren't readily available midi mapping files to work with Traktor 3. You can configure it yourself but I really couldn't be aresed with doing that and if I'm not mistaken, you can't get 4 deck control unless you're using Traktor Pro, which is what the controller was designed to use. I love Traktor 3 and was a bit apprehensive about changing versions. Now comparing to the porducts I've seen, this controller is a beauty! The build quality is excellent! I love the touch-sensitive jog-wheels. The pitch faders are quality! So too is the cross-fader but I don't use it that often. All the buttons feel sturdy, have a nice feel to them and you can use one of 2 shift buttons to select second funtions. The knobs are large and can be pushed in as kill switches with an illuminating red led indicating their on/off status. The illumination is good but I've not really used it in a dark club. I don't see it being a problem at all though, as the layout of everything is very logical and you quickly pick up where everything is. This thing is built with quality in mind though. I might add that I upgraded to Traktor Pro the day after I bought it and that was perhaps the biggest transition for me. Both are easy to pick up though if you're familiar with Traktor 3. The jog-wheels are multi-function too but they move a little too fast perhaps. I think its a minor gripe and there could perhaps be a way of re-calibrating it to slooooow down a lil. I've got used to it and I'm not completely anal about not using a mouse when gridding tracks for example. The sound quality is great and if you're familiar with Traktor Pro its a pleasure to use. It's a real pleasure to use. I'm so happy I bought it. Its the complete package if you have a laptop and headphones. It doesn't give you full control over 4 decks but I haven't read the manual so I could be wrong. I mean you can use the que/cup/play buttons and load tracks onto those all four decks etc but you can't move through the track with the job-wheels or control the EQ's. I like it better than the Vestax VCI300. That looks a bit cheaply made in comparison IMHO. The sound card is 16bit but very capable of producing quality sounds. I'm a very happy customer =)
