Bit pricey, but light, compact and neat.

I recently bought one of these, simply for listening to my collection of vinyl. I was a bit disappointed with the sound quality, but i am trying to source a suitable pair of external speakers to plug into it. If anyone has done a similar thing or has any ideas, please let me know. Apart from that, it's a great bit of kit for the occasional user. 2004-01-13
useful thing but is it worth of that money?

Good idea to create built-in amplified turntable for dj. Really good to use for listen ing if no other stereo systems are available, also for connecting your mp3 player to line in and use it as a speaker. Pitch is also worth to mention. But as i plugged my pioneer hdj1000 headphones to it, the internal amplifier hiss was noticeable. And listening to dillinja is not as impressive as from stereo system or other turntable, of course.speaker quality is quite good, but stylus quality could be a bit better, though. could have expected better quality from vestax, but as it's first of a kind and does it's main job well, i recommend it for listening records under "extreme" conditions (such as summerhouse, hotel room before dj set etc).price what i would pay for it, is around £70.
