3D Secure - What is it?
3D secure is a technology set up by MasterCard and Visa and comprises of Verifed by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. The system adds an additional layer of security for online transaction by requiring you to register a password against your card. This works in much the same way as your pin number when using an ATM machine. The 3D secure window you can see is not part of the DJ Store - it is generated by your credit card company, and the data you enter into these fields cannot be seen by DJ Store staff - the characters you enter from your password are transfered directly via a secure connection direct to your bank for verification.

Think of it as an online version of chip and pin - only you know the password - so even if someone did steal your card, or even just your card number - it would be no use to them without the code that only you know. What do I need to do?
If you have not used the 3D Secure system before you can register your card in the window above and choose a password. This password is sent directly to your bank/card issuer and is not shared with us in any way.

If you're already registered, the 3D secure panel will verify confirm some details of your transaction with you, and ask you to enter selected characters from your password to authenticate your order.
